We have free will... It isn't God who killed people *imagines God with a machine gun, and knives*
it's people who kill people.
It's like saying, it's the gun's fault a person died xD no it's not-- it's the fault of the person who shot it.
It's the person's choice.
Would you rather have the choice of choosing whether or not to make the world a better or worse place based on your actions, or have God forced upon you, and have no freewill?

Me...I'm thankful for my freewill ^^
God isn't a killer.
Humans are.

God invented guns, did he not? He implanted the invention inside the mind of whichever human that built the first one. So, he is responsible, though very irresponsible.

What about all the parts in the Bible about who begat who? Sounds pretty dirty to me. And what was the name of the man who impregnated one of his daughters to ensure the survival of his line?

lol i remember my reaction to that xD I was so weirded out, i called my bf, and I was like, uh explain this to me.
anyways, the bible is also a historical account of things. It's not saying it was the right thing to do to impregnate his daughter, it's just saying that it happened :/

and dirty things happen in life ^^
which...makes life a lot less boring. hahaha

We've gotta spare the kitten's lives, don't continue to fuel deusexmachina's obvious jabs at the legitimacy of Christianity.

He's a great, small example of why wars begin over religion. He slandered Christianity and claimed it to be wrong, so your obvious move was to retaliate. So he jabs again. Its a never ending cycle.

Thanks Deus for being a great example of a reason why humanity is currently f**cked up.

lol yeah, because in the bible it forgot to add, "and on the eighth day, God created guns"
ooookay.
^^ teehee

no, your reasoning doesn't make sense though, because you aren't really basing it on anything.
The God that's in the bible is very logical, and reasonable. He doesn't think the same way we *humans* do.
For example, in the bible, it talks about His LOVE for HIS creation.
He LOVES us, He doesn't want us to suffer.
We suffer because we have freewill; it's a trade off.
We get to choose the situations that lead to suffering...or not.

I'm not prepared to defend the Bible, its claims, the family trees, or the matter of incest. I concede - you have beef with Christianity, and that's fine. I'm not here to defend it, but why do those particular things irritate you?

Honestly, anyone on this Earth, who thinks their bloodline is EXEMPT from any kind of INCESTUAL relationship, is a fool. I'm sorry. It is not a matter of morals, or values, it is a matter of survival. As a species, I don't think any of us would be here unless some of our descendants 'kept it in the family', and that is simply the way it is. Can you produce a record which would prove otherwise? Neither can I!

I don't promote it. I'm not defending it. I do not have any such relationships - but I think it is incredibly ignorant to cite that when you bare your fangs at this school of thought.

"God" or peoples interpretation of "God" does not, and has never, killed people. People kill people. The ruling class in any given society uses those underneath it to work for its best interests. You have far too many unresolved issues with "God" or spirituality in general, to speak objectively about it. If "God" exists, who are we to question his/her/its logic, or rationale?

I don't even practice a form of religion, but I know that shitting on God is sooooooooooo mainstream. Congratulations, you are now a statistic.

Get over it.
