It doesn't bother me as long as I can understand it. It shouldn't hurt anybody who doesn't get enjoyment from being hurt by completely pointless things.

English is too complex. The fact that breaking grammar does close to nothing in terms of comprehension and understanding is proof of this.

I don't really care.
But it's fun being a troll sometimes!
Ahaha, w/ the infamous "your" & correcting them w/ "you're"

it bothers me a little bit. I mean, I'm not going to enter a grammar induced rage, but it does get to me.

I'm like a Grammar Nazi. ._. I always correct myself whenever I type something wrong even when it's obviously just a simple typo. xD
And I despise it when people type in all caps. I seriously think I have OCD or something when it comes to this kind of stuff. o.e

I hate it when people mess up then/than, they're/their etc.
English is my 3rd language, and I speak and write it better than most Americans. That is just sad...

My colleagues at work all have terrible grammer skills. I'm a mechanic, and several times I've ended up doing the wrong thing because of my boss' terrible grammer skills.

(Typed grammer wrong on purpose)

Bad grammar (along with spelling and punctuation) annoys me. I'm not bothered by typos, as we all make them, and I can forgive people for whom English is not their first language (they can speak/write English better than I can their language ) but for native speakers it just comes across as lazy.

I also don't agree that bad grammar/spelling is fine because the meaning is there. Apart from the fact that it's lazy to not use proper grammar, it can also change the meaning of a sentence.

The usual grammar mistakes that irk me very much are:

they're vs their
it's vs its
then vs than
too vs to vs two

I mean, I'm 20 years old and my peers still make this mistake. You'd think after almost two decades of schooling, people would know the difference.

But there are other things on the Internet in terms of spelling that also annoy me.

-when people type "awh" instead of "awe" or "aw." I really don't think the letter h belongs there, it's unnecessary.
-when people type write et cetera commonly known as etc as "ect." That is completely wrong!!

All of them, I hate it when people forget to add capitals but I also hate the 'to, two, too' one, it's the simplest but hardly anyone get's it right. Another would be there, their and there, how the hell do people mess that up? D:

...but if you understand what the other is saying, then what need there is to be so punctual about little details?O.o

They aren't little. Exactly because you may not understand as a result of errors in those 'little details'

An example I can think of is someone who wanted to point to the Country: Greece as an example of a failed political philosophy that he disagreed with. And actually found people arguing/questioning him about what an old John Travolta movie had to do with the argument at hand. The confused people were not being dicks either. They were honestly confused.

i rarely use caps and, for some reason, love ellipses... but one thing that really bugs me is the misuse of there/their/they're, you/re/your, then/than & it's/its...

drives me crazy... oh, and the people that use "shorthand" for EVERY. FREAKING. WORD.

i understand it was shorter and easier to use back when cell phones didn't have qwerty keypads or touchscreens, but christ, are putting vowels in your words that much of a chore? or the people that typ laik diz cuz dey tink itz kewl... i'd have a fucking seizure reading a paragraph of that mess...

then again i'm 31, so i guess i'm old & don't understand...
