Ok sooo my iphone is one of those extremely old ones and i have not updated it to the latest sofware yet because of certain complicated reasons of my life. So this is what happened i played a crunchyroll video my phone yesterday and it was connecting fine!!! But then my phone kinda froze in the middle of the video and it restarted afterwards and i wasn't really surprised about that cuz it happens a lot anyway. So i leave my phone alone for a while and then i come back to it like 3 hours later. I try to play a youtube video and its not loading right and of course that pisses me off... then i check out crunchyroll and then the video just stops playing in the middle and after a while of trying to watch anime on my phone i realize that my phone is reconnecting and disconnecting to my wi-fi!!! Unfortunatly my iphone doesn't have 3 g because my mom is a but and she decided to pay $5 dollars a month to cancel my 3g and now its still like this 24 hours later. I think the only thing i can use is safari, but now i can't use crunchyroll, youtube, or the app store!!!! what!!!

So you have a stable Wi Fi connection and you're unable to keep the connection?
I might try contacting Apple's customer support team to see if they can help you troubleshoot this issue.
They're probably going to know a bit more about your device than I do!

Contact your internet service provider and tell them of your currently situation. It it most likely not the device itself.

So to be clear, is the WiFi indicator on the status bar at the top of the screen going away when this happens?

If so, you may want to try going into settings, toggling Wi-Fi off for a few seconds and then back on. Also, if you have not shut down and restarted your phone in a while (i.e., pushed the sleep/wake button until you have gotten the red "slide to power off" slider, and done so), do that. Assuming none of the other WiFi connected devices in your home are having problems (which would indicate a problem with the router), you may need to restore your iPhone.

It appears from what he stated that the WiFi connection itself is the problem.

Regarding contacting Apple, it should be noted that Apple only provides free phone support for the first 90 days after purchase. Unless he has an active AppleCare Protection Plan (and those only go for two years), he would have to pay $29 for phone support. If he has an Apple Retail Store nearby, he could make a Genius Bar appointment, however, at no cost.

Apple would very likely want him to upgrade the software to the latest version. If the "certain complicated reasons of my life" that are the cause of no updating the software is because the phone is jailbroken, Apple would also not provide support. (Jailbreaking is still legal at this point, but Apple is not obligated to support software problems on a jailbroken phone).

If it is a problem with it disconnecting from WiFi, it wouldn't be an ISP problem unless they provided the wireless router and other WiFi connected devices in the home were also having the same problem.
