I'm curious as to where I could buy manga online.

I've checked Barnes and Noble and Amazon, but they have nothing that I'm interested in.

I'm really looking for Angel Beats, 11eyes, Chobits, and Baka & Test - that sort of stuff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since your profile says you live in Indiana, then your best option is to order from Amazon or Right Stuf.

Strictly talking manga, out of those four titles you mentioned, only 1 has been licensed in North America and that is Chobits. For best value, you can order the Omnibus.

Even with a got anime subscription, it is still cheaper to buy Chobits from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_2_7?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=chobits&sprefix=chobits%2Caps%2C376

Angel Beats has been licensed too.

I buy most of my manga at B&N and Amazon....mostly because it's so cheap. (first few of Angel Beats are only 4 bucks) Just sayin'.

I think I originally must have went to the wrong spot on Barnes and Noble, because I'm finding tons of stuff that I want - Blue Exorcist, Soul Eater, Highschool of the Dead, and Omamori Himari.

Thanks you guys! I really appreciate it. I had to find something to do with this college refund :3

I go to Amazon for new stuff

Ebay for older/out of print titles, and sets

I don't buy from RightStuf since they want someone to be home to sign for your package when it arrives, and that's not feasible for me

I continue to buy my manga at a local manga/comic book shop. I like to support small businesses if I can. Not to mention this particular store meets all of pet peeves (they dont let people read the manga if they dont plan on purchasing it!)

But I also buy alot of my manga/comics as digital prints. If you have a tablet/ipad/whatever there are tons of apps for manga/comic distibutors. I buy all my comics from Comixology, and I buy some of my manga directly from Viz or Yen Press. What's really great about the digital prints, is that (at least for Viz) the books are cheaper. I was able to buy volumes 1-13 of Vampire Knight for $4 each, getting the series just about half off.

I do still get books from time to time, not all publishers have digital copies (yet) and it saves me space. My manga collection and comic collection are out of control. I have three FULL book shelves (like the ones from the book stores. I totally raided Borders for shelves when they went out of business) filled with all the manga/comics I have accumulated in the past several years.

I use some of the websites already mentioned.

I also buy from akadot.com. It's great for translated manga and untranslated stuff like art books if you don't mind or are lucky enough to not have the language barrier.

I go to powells.com when I want loads of used books. It's more convenient to get one shipment with cheap or free shipping rather than buying used stuff from individual sellers with individual shipping costs when you go through something like B&N Marketplace. And all the used books are in excellent condition.
