My play-through i went with was playing a Infiltrator and keeping a high Paragon rating. I knew wich of the 3 choices were right and wrong in my opinion. The right-side choice was to eliminate all mechanical life in the galaxy so the reapers would be destroyed but at the cost of my ally's the Geth and most technology including the Mass Relays to also be destroyed. It seemed like the selfish choice and it was considered theRenegade choice. I veered away from that choice completely.

The next two made it a very hard choice for me and i'm definitely going to make another character and choose the other one.

The left-side choice was the Paragon choice and it was to take control of the Reapers and help them co-exist with organic life, sound goods right? Well the peace will not last long as the peace will only last until organic life creates the machines again and the cycle will continue. Also Shepherd would pay the same cost that The Illusive Man faced. So he would eventually die and become an idle machine controlling the Reapers.

because all three were rehashing and using the same scenes over and over again. With the only difference being the color of the beam fired off by the crucible. Basically pick your death choice: Death by Red, Blue, or Green.

The part that pissed me off the most was the Catalyst explanation of the Reaper's cycle and their purpose. So their purpose is to prevent Synthetics(Machines) created by Organics(living beings) from destroying Organics, and the Reaper's solution is to wipe out the organics every 50,000 years throughout the milky way. The irony is that the Reapers themselves are Synthetics created from genetic material of past races they've destroyed. So the whole purpose of them destroying every living being is based off on a hypothetical and they're trying to save people by killing them over eventuality... that's stupid.

sure it is painted red and the catalyst does make it seem like the worst option but it is what Anderson who was representing paragon in the cut scene choose, anyway as the game stands all 3 lead to the destruction of the mass relays and therefore the destruction of all life near them. plus if you get the perfect ending Shepard gasps.

As for synthesis, it just seemed like allowing the reapers to win merging all organic life with their synthetic life is not very different from making everyone into a husk...

Blue one I think, not exactly like there is any difference in any of them.
