My collection is mostly DVD, though I plan on buying Blue-ray at some point and only collect those due to the sub titles being in them.
I like some of the English dub but have become a fan of some of the Japanese Voice actors.
I have a collection of 85 box sets so far and about four shelf's of manga.

Someone complained early in this thread about my lack of bluray...
Now that I have a couple of anime blurays, I'm left with the conundrum of "Do I store them with all my bluray discs or do I store them with all my anime?" as they are not together. It's absolutely murdering my OCD. I hope you're satisfied.

my ex-wife got almost all of VHS collection. Back when you were paying through the nose for anime.
the bitch got my copies of:
Star Blazers Quest for iscandar (complete). i paid almost 200.00 including shipping and handling.
Mermaid Saga (complete) i think that one was 150.00
Project a-ko (one tape 60.00)
i got to keep my copies of Akira (90.00)
Warriors of the Wind (US edit of Nausicaa. it was a gift).
now that i have a region free player i have to upgrade to blu-ray. thing is my VHS collection is gone forever because a lot of that never made it to dvd...

If you are in north america then there is no need for a region free BD player as Japan and NA are both in region 1.
Oh and Little Busters BD 1 arrived so I can finally watch episodes 1-3! Kokoro Connect Kizu Random 2, Sukitte 2, Tonari 3, BTOOOM 3 all BD are on the way, should be here this week, soon if all goes well.

I've recently started my collection, i have Akira, Baccano!, and soon i will have Soul Eater and Beck after they're delivered. But i was wondering, does anyone know where to find cheap and legitimate copies of Eureka 7, i don't want bootlegs and the ones on Amazon are fucking expensive.

Sometimes I buy anime if it's a series I really like and the price is good. I think right now on DVD all I've got is Evangelion, Gurren Lagann, FLCL, the first season of Code Geass, the first season of Naruto Shippuden, and some random Pokemon movies. I usually wait to have a coupon or find something used.
