The time you need to get over it.. Plus the time you need to get to know the other person you might like. My ex never really got to know his girlfriends before he went out with them, assuming he'd got to know them after. None of it really ended well. He had something like 8 girlfriends in 9 months, taking in account one of them lasted 4 months. Just saying, relationship works better if you know who you're going for ^-^

I know I've answered this before, but I'm too effing lazy to look through the pages. It depends on how much I loved the person. For example, it's taken me roughly 2 years to get over the last relationship before the one I'm in now.

How long?! Time frame?! It depends upon the person it's not about the or the amount of time required

Yeah, Time HEALS however it's NOT ALWAYS the case

When your already move on with your EX self issues

When your not reading any of this and that kind of advise and literature

When your completely SANE and back to your old brand new self

When you do not have that sudden drop of mood swings

When you can handle your self and ready for new heart bashing session

Probably for awhile. It's good to know the person before going farther

Let's see a girl i asked out after three months of no hand holding, no hugging, no kissing, etc. breaks up with me, then 2 months after i went out with a girl for 5 days total started two days before valentines day and got my first kiss, she said i was a good kisser, and dumps me two days after valentines day, so i don't think I've decided dating isn't for me and that i'd be better off alone the rest of my life, because i really don't want that third sign i should be alone the rest of my life.

Truthfully, I wait until my ex has another boyfriend (or girlfriend, I don't judge). I'm the type of person that gets over anything quickly so like.... I want to make sure the other person is over it

Depends.

Sometimes the hurt takes longer to drown while other times, there was no hurt at all. There's many factors involves, like how much you liked them, the memories you have, and the things the "are yours" as a couple (things like food, music, events, etc.).

Build too much of those things and the hurt's a-comin'. If it just wasn't meant to be and you have little or none of those things, you may as well date someone else the next day!

... unless you just broke up with a yandere
