Do you judge someone based on their picture?

If it is something intended to be funny then I judge the humor in it. If it is something I find funny as well then I can assume at least on some level our humor type matches and we might possibly get along. If the picture is of something more artistic then things are open to far more possibilities all dependent upon what the picture is of. For example if it is of something dark and depressing I would assume they find some sort of attraction to things like that or are that way themselves. If it is a more sunny picture I would assume they are more happy and possibly energetic. The picture just gives a very basic idea of how the person might be though. I let their post and the way they conduct themselves either contradict or support the original assumption.

If I see some girl who took over a hundred self shots or mirror photos then I usually think she's annoying right off the bat. Now if I see guys doing this well, lets not talk about that.

A picture is suppose to represent you in some way, A picture of yourself shows you think that other people should see your true self for whatever reason. People who show themselves are more likely to speak to people who also have a picture of themselves. If I had a picture of a character from a anime/game you like you would be more likely to speak to me wouldn't you?

The picture is just the way of recognizing a poster with a brief glance if you aren't into reading their name. If the picture happens to be something interesting I try to save it and then head off and continue whatever I was doing.
