I know it's an odd question but I recently took my mother to lunch and it came up.

Now I don't mean thoughts beamed into your head saying "Tall slave, it is time for my mid day meal.", more like.... an enlarged sense of presence.

I've had Cats all my life. My family got the first one a week before I was born because I was late. Over my life there have been 7 cats but only 1 of them had this .... ability

He was a cat we had while I was in High school (I'd named him Jason), He was very quite, never meowed or anything but he could enlarge his presence somehow. If he was displeased he would turn his back to you and radiate displeasure and you could feel it without even looking. At time I would be in my room doing stuff and for no reason at all just get up and go to the back door to let him in.

at any rate the topic at lunch turned to cats (she has a new one, a big stray she has named Sumo.) and I brought it up. She was surprised because she had thought she was the only one who felt that way about Jason. After comparing notes I jokingly said he must have been a telepathic cat and she said "Well he was part Siamese so I wouldn't be surprised"

The thought has been bugging me for a few days now so I'm asking the question. Has anyone else experienced a Telepathic Cat.....and was it Siamese?

My cat is (apple head) Siamese and I don't think shes telepathic. I just think she's a plain little bitch.

But yeah her name's "Sagwa" and she is pretty trippy sometimes. I think cats see sh*t that we don't because I constantly see her and other cats always staring at nothing and then acting trippy out of nowhere.

I used to have a male Siamese that could sense when I was coming home from road trips. Actually, I believe Looney read my Mother's face when I would call her informing of my ETA. Mom would say the cat would act excited 1 day in advance from ETA whereas earlier it was lethargic all day long as older cats tend to get when sharing space with little old ladies.

My fact cat attempts to use, what we call in my home, "Jedi Kitty Powers."

He jsut stares at you when he wants something. And its the kind of stare that makes you think he would be waving his paw around, using the Force, to convince you to feed him canned food or let him outside.

It doesnt work, but it is kinda cute.

I don't know if it's telepathy, but my cat's meow is like a direct megaphone to the brain. It's so noisy and annoying, I wish it would just go away =_= It's really mean too

It's not just cats that does this. Animals just have this 6th sense like that. It's something you should really research and look into.

My cat can sense it when I am horny.

No. The little bastard would feed things about me to people that I don't want anyone to know about.

not sure,
yet there have been things about our family cats that certainly lean me towards saying yes to their having telepathic abilities at times.

One thing I'm beginning to think with real certainty-- we have teleporting cats,

I'll swear I just saw Knuckles or Purrman ( the two "talented " cats in question, both farm born of unknown inter mixed origins)
curled up in a ball, asleep on a blanket in the basement, & now, suddenly, he's here, wide eyed at the window upstairs @ the opposite side of the house, too, I might add, checking out the birds, how do they do this? they certainly didn't run past me to get there!

Well, I've always wondered if cats are the true outer space aliens among us...............
