New Ideas fot Bleach !!
Posted 3/15/12
For Bleach to be ending so soon saddens me they cant come up with more stuff for your favorite characters Ichigo and others if they could come up with something like well lets saw that someone important i mean like REALLY important say Kisuke turned bad or Ichigo's father that would spice things a little or even soul society people Rukia maybe even Renji they just need to spice things up a little more Zangetsu that would be interesting or something bad went wrong with Hichigo I can see that too or some new hollow was made by some crazy mad man that was still in Aizen's control he can't die but im sure he could so something to help keep bleach from not ending so soon or lets someone DIE that is like important i just don't want it to end ... need some ideas so that the show could continue if i had the power to go see the people that do this kinda stuff OOHHH .. show them a piece of my mind lol. Its hard to let an anime that has been going for so long that might end in March that is what i heard and i hope that is not true DIE OUT and that's why I'm writing this out right now to tell the world of CR that bleach is one of the most watched and loved animes of all time and it needs to stay just a little bit longer so that the intenseness is still there lets just hope that it don't end in March -w- .

Who wants bleach to end i mean really... i know i don't want it to end and so i hope you guys respond to this think of more ideas or something or other then we can do is daydream about it and hope it don't END we need more fighting and soul society and swords, Japanese subtitles or if its duded then freaking awesome then but yes we need BLEACH!! ... Bleach Forever!!

They're just as bad as Tite Kubo's ideas.
They just might work!

It just taking a break. It has something to do with manga. So i don't think that it is ending. That is good news right.

I still have yet to see anything official about the anime ending. Everything, at least as of the last time I looked about a day or two ago, was entirely based on AnimeNewsNetwork's reporting of something in a TV schedule...then ANN reporting an incredibly vague Twitter comment, which the reporter/editor accepted as a factual confirmation. Apparently nobody could actually be bothered to >ASK< any of the anime staff or the associated production company, and apparently nobody has bothered to ask about the talk on the Japanese-language sites regarding the press on Bleach.

That's what you get when you learn about journalism standards from 4chan.

All the other comments on this matter, from every other blog, all the way to the recent Wikipedia entry on Bleach's alleged 'official end date,' have entirely been based upon this atrocious bit of blogging and rumor mongering. As of yesterday, Vizmedia and any other official source has had no comment on this rumor.

As I've said before, this is just like Sket Dance's 'official ending' a few months back. Folks were making conclusive statements based upon zero actual information.

It might be the end, it might not, it might be a break...the point is, nobody has pointed out any information whatsoever on this notion that didn't entirely source back to the ANN website 'report.'

Hell...I wouldn't be surprised if the whole rumor was being encouraged to drum up publicity.

The fact that we've heard no official denial that it is ending makes me think we will not be seeing Bleach episodes as much as the "ending" mark that was on the listing for it in the TV listings in the magazine.

Some people may not remember, but there was a rumor a bit over a year ago that Bleach was ending, based on a comment of one of the performers of the new ending theme at that time. That rumor was officially shot down.

Either way, the entire controversy will be settled in about 3 weeks. Then people can start arguing about whether the series is on hiatus or gone for good, and start coming up with false reports of the date of its return (like all the people that believed Reborn would return in Spring 2011, only 6 months after it ended).

About the official denial -- I've wondered about that myself, but I've also heard zero commentary on whether or not the supposed ending of Bleach is something being discussed openly on Japanese fan sites.

If this is a purely American (or at least Anglophone) rumor, there really wouldn't be much reason to make an official comment one way or another, as CR, Hulu, Vizmedia.com, and the other outlets for subtitled immediate-release Bleach viewerships outside of Japan are a rather minor stream of income, one that wouldn't be affected negatively by such a rumor.

And again...such rumors can fuel more income. If this gets people talking about Bleach with more excitement than we've seen in the past year, why would anyone possibly want to quell free publicity?

To me, this still all falls on ANN and its general incompetence. Is there nobody at ANN who speaks Japanese? Nobody who could even go down to a nearby University or Japanese restaurant to pay someone $20 to check the Japanese websites that evening? Nobody who could even be bothered to contact either the Japanese PR staff of the production company, or the Public Relations department of Viz Media, to even request a confirmation, denial, or even a 'no comment?'

If this were Fox News reporting on a rumor based upon a speculation based upon a Tweet that vaguely referred to something printed in a TV Guide listing, people would be going nuts.

maybe bleach would be more interesting if they actually killed off some captains and some useless piece of shits

if Bleach anime ends, eventually bleach will return in the future and the story would be more longer than the Arrancar arc

It's not just a rumour, it's been confirmed by multiple official sources in Japan. English sites have only reported the original news (the TV guide listing and tweet) as there was no need to write up multiple articles reporting the same thing.

Here's an additional tweet from Bleach's animator director who was kind enough to respond to to a foreign fan using English:

Even if it's true, it's still atrocious and lazy reporting, and the reporting that was done (and ALL the 'factual' follow-up commentary) was based on no more than rumor. Considering how much further reporting there was regarding reiterating vague noise without any real information, I somehow don't think that actually adding a couple of lines on an electronic website would have cost the big bucks, if that follow-up contained any real information. In America, especially since Naruto stopped being broadcast, I would estimate that Bleach was the most watched Anime on the part of older teenagers and adults.

Just think about that for a moment...something that a million or so people watch per week, and ANN.com (which should call itself "A few geeks writing sloppy crap gossip.com") can't be bothered to actually print real information?

Why couldn't they print the confirmation? Because their earlier rumor turned out to be true? Give me a break...just imagine if that sort of reporting happened with anything else.

I'm not getting worked up because it's Bleach or I'm a fanboy...I haven't been that for a year and a half...I'm just amused that people can lazily eat whatever slop is fed to them my an organization that claims to be an anglophone 'source' of anime news.

I personally would like to see a new "Bleach" maybe not called Bleach, but that would take place in Yoruichi and Urahara's time. Young Zaraki Kenpachi and Kuchiki Byakuya would be sick. Also Ichigo's dad needs a bit more explanation in which they could cover in such a series.
