Released a couple days ago here in North America. Anyone have it? Played a couple hours, and it seems pretty solid so far despite the fact that I'm still having trouble learning the battle system.

Voice acting is pretty decent too which is always a plus.

The arc where you play as children slightly annoyed me. But I love everything about the game after that short arc. I do like it more than Vesperia but not more than Symphonia....yet.

The children arc became annoying after awhile. Thank goodness it ended when I was about to throw the controller into my TV. Voice acting is good. The Battle System is awesome but the Character Controls during Battle could have been better (i.e. not just being able to run backwards and forwards towards your target. It gets problematic when you're getting swarmed).

Everything is really straightforward.

My only beef with it is the DLC item maximum. What, I have to pay just to increase my max capacity from 15 to 30?! That should already be in there! What would be better is a DLC for 99 maximum item capacity.

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING MAY BE A SPOILER

Character Assessment:

Asbel (Child) - annoying as hell
Asbel (Teen) - ..meh..he's become less annoying and more typical brooding, emo protagonist.

Hubert (Child) - really whiny but okay
Hubert (Teen) - freaking awesome. (mostly because he wipes the floor with Asbel)

Cheria (Child) - meh. Typical. (but so cute :3)
Cheria (Teen) - very useful in combat. Never get in combat without her whenever she's in the party. And as Hubert once pointed out, she wears a VERY short skirt and in my book, that earns you lots of extra points :D

Malik - your badass swordsman in every RPG. He's so badass, his back story is actually more intriguing than the Childhood Story Arc. Plus with a last name of "Caesar", you know he's gonna kick a lot of ass.

Pascal - ....bwahahahaha!!! she will never get old The things she says are LOLZ

Richard - he's around the same wavelength as Asbel, but A LOT more tolerable

Sophie - your "Mysterious Girl" plot element that drives the later parts of the story.....and she is sooooooooo cute :3 (I want a Nendroid version of her )

The cast is alright to me, but no one really stood out. Asbel feels like your typical main, Cheria is the typical childhood friend who becomes the love interest and so on.
