I hope they simulcast Kore wa Zombie no Desu Ka? and Medaka Box.
I'm just hoping for those two anime since they are my favourite in this Spring 2012 line up well, at least the most desirable for me.

I get the feeling that Funimation will get the second season of Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka
They've already licensed the first season, which is why its no longer on CR, so they might license this one as well
Medaka Box..I hope CR picks this up!!

Yeah if Funimation licenses Kore wa Zombie no Desu Ka? it's not going to be in CR. I'm just going to watch at Funimation or a third party website that offers hd. But I hope Medaka Box is getting simulcasted and also Sankarea too.

Actually the chances of Crunchyroll getting Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? series 2 is quite likely. Sora no Otoshimono, Strike Witches, and some others had their first series licensed by Funimation, and Crunchyroll still managed to stream the sequels, which were also later licensed by Funimation. It's probably in the contract that Crunchyroll has first dibs on streaming sequels.

It could happen, I suppose it depends on Crunchyroll and their contracts. The only case (not sure if its a good example or not) I can think of at the moment where CR didn't get a sequel would be Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2.
Funimation somehow got it instead of CR even though CR has the first season and Funimation doesn't. I think that was one of the big upsets winter season.
But hey, I'm all for CR getting Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka 2. So I hope it is likely that they are able to get the next season.

0/3... WoW CR you sure are failing this season.

Keep in mind that except for this series, it is only due to unusual circumstances that CR has announced anything this early.

With Hiiro No Kakera, they got the right to simulcast the early preview airing. Obviously, if you are going to be airing that, you would be tipping your hand you have the series, so you have to go ahead an announce.

With Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos, getting the shorts would have been a strong hint they were getting the series starting in April. Now, they could have waited to debut the shorts until the same time, but instead decided to put them out now as a run-up for the series.

You make it sound as if CR is crashing down in flames when in fact it just happens that the 3 series they have announced early happen to be ones you aren't interested in.

CR has little reason to announce any series weeks before it starts unless something else would make it obvious. Why announce they were getting Medaka Box now (as an example), if almost 3 weeks from now some people would forget CR even had it. Better to announce it just before it starts.

As to the series you are interested in, Fate/Zero is a given, as it is a continuation of the series that was scheduled from the beginning. It would have been remiss of CR to not include it in the original contract. Don't expect it to be announced, however, until closer to the premiere for the reasons stated above.

Saki: Achiga-hen episode of side-A is likely, due to being on TV Tokyo.

I would put the odds of Eureka Seven Ao being on CR at around 50%, with the chance of it being simulcast somewhere else at 20-30%.

As to Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead, see my replies below:

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead will almost certainly be simulcast, but it remains to be seen whether it will be by CR, Funico, or both. A lot depends on the terms of CR's contract with Kadokawa for the original series. Certainly Funimation having the license now to the first series should have little impact, as Funimation having the first Strike Witches series licensed didn't stop CR from getting the second, and Funimation already having the license for the first Sora no Otoshimono didn't stop CR from getting Forte (which Funimation also simulcast).

The bigger factor is actually Kadokawa's relationship with the parent company of Nico Nico.

Keep in mind Funimation licensed had licenses for the first Strike Witches and Sora no Otoshimono, and licensed the second series of each right out of the gate, but that didn't stop CR from getting the simulcast of the second series of each.

As noted above, the bigger issue is Kadokawa's relationship with NicoNico.com, which didn't exist as a anime simulcaster until well after both those series aired. Unless CR had terms in their original contract that give them rights of some type to any sequel series (right to counter any other bid, simultaneous rights on same terms, etc.), I would say Funico will probably get it. If I had to place all my chips on one bet only, however, I would say both simulcasting it is the most likely outcome.

Even though Crunchyroll has the original series? Is this being published by a different company?

YES! ^_^ Three new simulcasts available in the Netherlands! And, this time it is a sci-fi, too. ^^ Thank you, Crunchyroll!!!

For me, the biggest point of anticipation each season is not which series Crunchyroll is going to simulcast, but how many of those series are also going to be available in my area. Every season Crunchyroll seems to be doing better in my country. It makes me really look forward to five years from now. ^-^

It's being produced by the same companies, but I believe CR licensed the first series from the US distributor.

Probably somebody else has the rights, let's remember that Bandai (the original series licensor) is dead in the US as of now...

Matsumoto is Matsumoto, after watching all of Harlock and Galaxy Express 999, simulcasting a show of his sounds nice, since I actually haven't watched something new of his in a couple of months.
