Alright, I'm planning a Hunting trip with my platoon, and want to flaunt a new Sniper rifle for the trip. Can anyone suggest me something, money isnt an option and I dont wanna hear any suggestions for an R700.

Bring a sling shot. It'll make your buds look like pussies.

Show up with cammo face paint and a no other weapon than a kbar, drenched in the piss of whatever you're hunting and then tell your PSG that you love the visceral feeling of steel through flesh.

If you want something new that looks impressive Thompson/Center has a rifle out called the Dimension, its got a modular design which makes replacing things a bit easier, this includes changing gauges in case you want to change the game your hunting. Its also one of the newest guns on the market. At the very least it looks snazzy and touts being a completely new gun and not based on any existing designs.
Review here;

Hope that helps, not much of a gun person myself, but I work with a few...

50 bmg be dandy, A snipe riffle a bit much for hunting though. A 30-06 is good all around riffle to use, need long rang id go 300, or 7mm, both hit hard and fly fat. 338 and 308 also hard hitters, fly not as flat. If your in heavy brush or shotgun or 30-30 be good, 270 or 243 would use for smaller game great deer rounds, both fly flat, easy to use. If in brush ditch scopes iron sights good to 150, easy with flat shooter. those what be good and easy to gett at local stores.

money isnt a problem? then it depends on the game personally i like the AR-10 for deer and elk, but if its coyote hunting or anything around that size id go for a ruger mini 14/30 (cause i just love the bolt design for the m1 styled rifles) they come with scope rings so its easy to mount one. Springfield Armory has the ever classic m1a (based off of the m14) that shoots a 308 1.5-2k for one of those. My personal favorite is anything based off of the ak platform though and they have a VEPR out now that comes in standard rifle cartridges like the 308/556 but also have it in more obscure rounds like the 7.62 54R (commonly used in the mosin nagant, svd, prm, psl, and other assorted COMMbloc rifles. also a very cheap but dirty round) But if youre looking for something a little bigger they have tons of uppers(that you mount on an ar15 lower) chambered in 50bmg usually not too badly priced 1-3k if you know where to look. but if money isnt a problem and i mean that in the most extreme sense I'd buy a Barrett 82A1/107 50bmg or if you dont want to spend 8-15k on a rifle they have the 98b chambered in 338 lapua for i think around 6k and if thats still too much theres the model 99 chambered in 50bmg (single shot bolt action) for i wanna say 2-3k. If none of the ones ive listed are to your liking i suggest a more classic rifle from weatherby they have amost every caliber under the sun and theyre known for quality.
