THE NURSE immediatly stopped crying and growled at Skybird. "You lookin' for a fight Flyboy?!"
"It's Skybird, miss. I'd appreciate it if y'all remembered that." Skybird said in a somewhat commanding tone.

Trust me, when the UN sent us after a terrorist group, they had tried EVERY other method first. And whatever killed your daughter, was not our fault. You think we can save everyone? You're upset because we couldn't save her? thirteen years ago a gas bomb went off in New York. The entire city died because we were lead on a wild goose chase. You feel bad about your daughter? We have the lives of an entire city weighing on us."

They had every right to quit after everything they did, but they didn't. They kept pushing against Ivan to stop this world. But the world wouldn't stand with them! "You have a time machine to go back and show us how to slaughter Ivan without sacrificing our humanity? Go ahead! The whole world failed. If this was our fault, it was the whole world's as well. But it wasn't our fault. Ivan was too good for anyone to figure out. That and with all his connections he's rallied far too many people." Archer said, "No one could have stopped him without becoming like him."
