I hope its still there, my mothers stone, I couldn't bear the sadness if I lost it Emma thinks as she turns around the corner and runs to her room. As she arrives to her room, she finds it a mess as its been robbed. No not robbed as of they were trying to find something. Emma runs her mattress which is flipped over and opens a slit. There it was, her mothers stone glistening safe and sound, Thank goodness it's still here, I wonder who it was as what they were trying to find? Emma grabs a small woven bag and puts the stone inside. Don't worry mother I'll make sure I keep your promise. she thinks as she puts the bag in her pocket as she secures it. Well I guess I'll just clean this up later. As she walks out the room and makes her way back.

Today had been the very same day that her village was attacked. She prayed every year, wishing them well.
