Taira's eyes widened. Tears threatened to rear their ugly heads, but she forced them back and kept a stoic face. Her own father...She turned on her heel and began to head back to The Father. A small spark of fury was in her eyes, waiting to be lit.

The young woman continued to walk. She had absolutely no idea how she was going to get back, but she knew one thing for sure:she had to start training her ass off.

The young woman continued to walk. She had absolutely no idea how she was going to get back, but she knew one thing for sure:she had to start training her ass off.
Shortly after Taira had left the barracks, the base erupted into anarchy as Tank and his men blew through their main gate, "Carve a path straight through to Ivan! I owe that bastard for my squad!" he roared at his troops.
"What about-?" a skinny troop next to him began to ask.
"We hit The Father after his Russian meat-shield is dead!"

It didn't take long before The Father had entered the battlefield. The moment he entered, 3 of Tank's team of 5 turned against Tank. The Father seemed to grin, "You really thought yourself able to resist me, Flowers? I am old. I am near the end of my life. And I have never felt stronger! The world can not resist me much longer. Why think you could?"

Tank fell to his knees, holding his head and screaming in pain as The Father approached, "For the past thirteen and a half years you and your allies have been a dire thorn in my side. I can still offer you redemption, though. I can still give you my gift. Just let me in."
Once The Father was only a few feet from Tank he seemed to relax, as though giving up. The Father's mask smiled as Tank stood, "See?"
"I see now, Father." Tank said without expression.
The Father moved to place his hand on Tank's shoulder, only to have Tank grab it and stab him with a knife, "I see that you can't really tell who's under your control, and who really fights for what they believe in." he then punched The Father, knocking them both to the ground.

Taira watched. She looked around. Maybe she could get these guys to retreat...the situation was dangerous, especially with more than half of his troops converting to the rival team. The other troops wouldn't stand a chance.
