I think my EX is planning to kill me.

This has been troubling me lately, but I just went through a pretty disturbing break up not too long ago, im sure most of you notice I mention my EX in my posts a lot. Well, the main reason is because she was pretty unstable in the head. After she stole my Social security card in a vain attempt to keep me around under the threat of "ruining my life", I finally gave up and just walked away. it just wasn't working. I live with no regrets, I don't care for "What ifs" "What can be" and "What could have been". She doesn't understand this, and wont move on. I have.

Regarding the whole Social card incident, I have life lock, and various other protection systems so im not really worried if she tries to ruin my credit, its virtually impossible without valid information that only I know.

Anyways, I logged into her email the other day to delete some messages I had sent her that I hope she forgot about regarding some very sensitive information. The reason I even have access to her email is because I was the one who set her password, she is one of those people who use stupid easy passwords such as "password", "123456" or her name..etc, so I took the liberty of helping her with a pretty secure password. Thats when I noticed a couple emails to and from Craigslist regarding her haggling and purchasing a 9 MM Hi- Point pistol, with a clip worth of ammunition from some dude for 130$ Shes never been into guns. And the emails started right after the day we broke up.

Lately shes been pretty eager to find out where I live now since I moved, and has even gotten a hold of my new cellphone number. Im kinda worried actually, the whole scenario has me tripping balls really. I got a pretty disturbing text from her saying "I have nothing to lose now."

I honestly have no idea what to do, if I goto the cops I can actually get sued for privacy invasion, I think, because a guy who caught his wife cheating ended up going to jail because he got into her email to get the proof for his divorce case..

Anyways Im thinking of trying to meet her in a public place tomorrow, or later on (downtown), being the weekend and theres tons of people around I doubt she'd try to pop me off then, she can't be that crazy (Atleast I hope not). Im going to try and talk some sense into her. Think that was a good idea? I don't want to tell any of the people I know because thats just doing too much, and I have no time for rumors or people spreading things.

Be careful of who you get yourselves involved with.

OMG I thought this was a joke thread, written by some paranoid freak but holy shit this is serious.

I don't know if it is a good idea to meet this person, if murder is on her mind she is obviously not thinking straight.

I honestly do not think she will have the means to sue you, if this is serious you should probably seek help from the police. Also you HAD her password and she actually got you to set if up... so I'm sure there's a loophole somewhere.

Maybe you should press charges on her immediately. Just send the info you found to the authorities and try to get things situated just in case. I wish you the best.

Her lawyer will definitely use it against you. The action alone could get her off the hook, too.

I think meeting up with her would be a good idea. She needs to cool down! If you meet in a very public place she won't attempt to shoot you, if that dosent work out and you know that she is still trying to find your address i suggest going to the Police! If your the one who set up her e-mail i don't see why you would get in trouble, especially since its a life-threatening situation. You also may want to check up on her friends and/or family to see what they have to say about her behavior recently to see if she is mentally unstable.

Just make sure where you meet her, there's an officer nearby. This is some serious stuff and just be careful man.

i would suggest having another friend stand nearby just in case something happens. o_o it is a public place but reading about your ex makes me think that she won't really care if it's a public place if she does attempt to kill you.
i hope things turn out well for you and i hope this is just you being paranoid.

You're probably helping her in the long run. She needs professional help. Good luck with everything.

Holy frick, you're in serious trouble. First of all, if you meet with her, I'll be praying that your meeting goes smoothly, without any psychotic breaks or whatnot. I'm not even religious, but pray I shall. Secondly. I'd advice you to bring a friend with you. He wouldn't have to be right there for your talk with your ex, but have him watch over you from a distance. Just make sure he can see you both clearly. The reason I think you should bring a male friend is just because should your ex see you with said friend and it's a girl, she might not take it too well.

If during your meeting she behaves in a way that adds to your suspicion I think you should throw caution to the wind and go to the police (seems somehow contradictory as going to the police would indeed be cautious)
As above stated, seeing as you were the one who helped her set up her account there should be some loophole.

Otherwise, better to be sued than seriously injured or deceased.

Best of luck to you.

i didn't know you can get sued for THAT. I mean, it is self defence isn't it? I don't know. Good luck though. Your ex scares the crap outta me.

She did say she had nothing else to lose meaning she would probably off you in public and not care (if its true) and if she doesn't off you in public she can always stalk you home. I'm not trying to plant more fear but if what you say is true avoiding contact with her may be the best thing .
