It may get a third season, who knows. It's only been a year since the second season came out after all. Heaven's Lost Property is getting a third season and it's been two years since its second season aired, excluding the movie. There's still hope, plus there's OVAs...

Bro that's lame. I heard S2 end at chapter 42 or something and there's over 200 chapters right? If it didn't do good in Japan, there won't be a season 3. Damn these Japanese, they have high expectations for animes while America, UK and other countries are loving this. I wouldn't expect any less from Japan's anime lovers.  |

I still hold out hope since Moyashimon got a 2nd season 5 years after the 1st season. With that in mind, I continue to hope and pray for a season 3 and hope that the OVA/manga sales may translate into a continuation. Either way, the rest of the story deserves to be animated, it's a great plot.

A third season was given the green light. The Angel of Clockwork movie (dealing with Hiyori's arc) has yet to be released by Funimation. It will probably be released later this year.

December 18th refers to the release of the second Tenri OVA (see below ANN article). There is still no news of a third TV season.
