You can see that it will be released this year in July:
http://www.madman.com.au/htmlmail/newsletters/2012_03_mar/ - Need to scroll down.

Even tho it's Madman who is releasing it and yes its for Australia, does this mean us in the UK will finally have it released and re-released again in US?

US re-release- no, unless there was some specific reason why Madman couldn't pick up the license until now (Geneon still holding licensing rights for example) FUNImation would have likely released it along with the rest of the CLAMP franchises they hold. Manga might bring it to the UK but that's a long shot.

I suppose depending on how well it's received in Austrailia Sentai might re-release in the US since they are all about the sub only Anime, in my case I'll be pre ordering as soon as it appears on the web

Not surprised it would be a sub only-release since Cardcaptor Sakura's english dub is the worst of all time in my opinion.

(however another company did the 2nd movie and I thought it was decent! why couldn't that same company re-dub the entire series!!??)

Bang Zoom aren't cheap (don't actually know how they cmpare to other studios ) and at 70 episodes it's something that needs to sell well to justify the expense.

Clannad came out sub only then got dubbed so there is hope if Sentai pick it up, of course if FUNimation did pick it up it would get dubbed but do you really want to let a company that used to be part of Nelvana who are responsible for Cardcaptors near CCS?

It's really a shame CCS went out of print, but not surprising with the way the dub was treated. At least English speakers will get another chance to own this show. I'm happy for the Australians since CCS is really a good show.
