The comment section: The format of it being below the episode is fine, however having to hit more is cumbersome. Add view all option or next page option. (Strongly dislike this comment section format cause it breaks the conversation up to much)

You queue section: Can we get the Your queue section between the title of the anime and the last watched space filled in with a section called Last Updated Ep. showing the most recent/updated episode to the series. This will improve overall functionality with using the Your queue instead of having to click on each anime and pressing play to determine if it has a new one.

Also when the episode is complete, please mark it as such, so I don't go back to episode one. I will watch good anime again but not immediately. Like to give it a rest before I do.

Shows section, specifically Anime: Bring back the Seasons section, was nice to see when it was aired. Possibly add a flag option to default to the section of we want to see. I'm sure the people that watch this site for the dram would like to be able to go straight to drama and choose there subsection (i'm not one of them).

I would prefer the ability to click on shows and it default to the updated section. (I have bypassed this by using a bookmark/favorite to the updated section until such option can be made?)

Also I agree that you are making the site to professional looking versus your audience. I don't come here to see a perfectly clean website. I come to see my anime and believe functionality supersedes sleek look IMHO. Not knocking the hard work put into the website cause there is a ton behind it, for that I commend you.

Please see that this makes it back to your development web designers to see about adding back some of the functionality
Also since the launch of this new design it seems they are listening and I appreciate the view all option in Alphabetical and the series that was updated in the updated section

Don't like the new look at all, especially the new comments format. Please add the "view all comments" back in again...

I generally like it, but please put show ratings back in the listings. I'm a new user, and I like to browse the genre listings and pick out completed shows based on their review ratings. The new design makes that cumbersome.

The more you hide favorites and remove features, the less likely I am to keep my premium subscription. It's hard enough as it is to get e-mail notifications of show updates.

It's also a horribly sterile look.

i don't really agree with the new site...
most of the layout is good (like the comments are shown at the bottom of the vid, etc), the thing i don't like is the color scheme and the logo
to me those two made up the whole crunchyroll site,
when i first used crunchyroll after the update, i was like, im i in the wrong site... then after carefully inspecting i noticed the anime thumbnails
like i said... the color scheme and the logo was what made the site stand out...
now it just seems like any other site... and by that i mean it doesn't feel like home...

also the profile changed a bit. like the way you could use a .png file with transparency for your leaderboard Image and have some of the background image show. that made for some good user profiles but now there is a white background that goes between those two images, so the profiles had kind of become boring .. in my opinion..

Thank you for returning the Updated tab back to showing the Series/Episode Number. Much better format.

I agree with this user completely. There are some seasons where I have a lot of shows that I keep up with. The queue is okay for handling this, somewhat, but the e-mail notification function that the favorites list gives is important to me. I like to be able to look in my e-mail box and see that there is something good to watch.

Now, if adding series to the queue were to do this as well, making the favorites function harder and harder to find wouldn't be as big of an issue. Unfortunately, it seems as if the queue still doesn't give us users that option. We users shouldn't be expected to have to bookmark sections that we have been using for years in order to continue using them, we should have easy access to them. At least that's my opinion.

Yes, DON'T HIDE FAVORITES

Yes, I know that a lot of Crunchyroll staff are software engineering geeks and the favorites started to be use by lots of people to make up for no Queue, and y'all made that worse by showing favorites in things like the Roku channel ...

... but the real point of a Favorites page is to make it easy for us to share our favorites with our friends online. That's free advertising for Crunchyroll, so its insane to hide the favorites page just because you forgot what the original purpose was.

Stop nagging people to use the queue when favorites open, and fix it so that series that are already in the queue are the same height as series with an "Add to Queue" button, because the current mismatched heights ruins the layout of the favorites page, and put a link to favorites in a black strip along the top of the User Profile just like the black strip on the top of "forum" and "groups"..

You gotta understand that if you stopped sabotaging the layout and use of the favorites page, I wouldn't be the only person tweeting or emailing or posting a link to my favorites page to different people several times a week.

And this is an important User Interface Design point:

Instead of nagging people to stop using Favorites like a Queue, and to use the Queue instead, make the Queue work better as a Queue than Favorites does, across the board. Then people who continue to use Favorites like a Queue because the Queue is missing features can stop doing it, and people who want to use it like an actual Favorites page can do so.

I hated having to use Favorites like a Queue on the old Roku channel design, because the Queue is for shows I am following. Some of them will turn out to be favorites, and some won't. I want Chihaya Furu on my Favorites page. I might want OZMA and I might not ~ we'll see. I definitely am not going to put Knight in the Area in my favorites. But I had or have all three in my Queue, because I was or am following them.

I like the simple new site but maybe an option for two types of layouts to choose from in your profile. One that is very minimal (or as is) and another that is for people that want all social media options. I personally am happy all those buttons are gone but there are many that need and want to let the world know what they like and are watching. Just don't force the Facebook and Twitter stuff on everyone. If I have to click I do not want to use Facebook again I will go mad.

For those that did not know, http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime/recent still works.

Good work.

Crunchyroll Has no Ethic's at All using this Subliminal logo , as a Subliminal Expert a Recognized the Hidden Massage in the Logo and moved me from loyalty to hostility . anyone who understand's how subliminal work's will no longer want to be associated with this website .

i am a Premium Account Holder i Pay like any other Premium Account Holder , But because i am in Saudi Arabia i cannot Watch Bleach or any other anime . i only can watch Naruto Shippuuden. and about 10 more anime . i Pay like you Do in Full Price but i get less than 5% of the Anime You get to watch , this is not fair at all .

They Have Promised me that there working on it , i had my lawyer contact TVTOKIO to move the issue forward since last year , me and my fans have been sending them messages on twitter with no results , where is customer support , they keep ignoring us and sending threat's on my inbox !!! , We have been asking them for Much more over a year now to improve the premium account features for Paying individuals in Saudi Arabia with no progress or reply . no even respect !!

What is the subliminal message? That the Crunchyroll logo cleverly doubles as an Anime eye? This is intentional as our primary business is simulcasting Anime which makes the logo relevant to the content.

Off topic:
As for region rights, don't exaggerate. I just counted and people in Saudi Arabia have access to 50% of the Anime on Crunchyroll. It is not a lie that we are working on providing more for countries outside of North America. We even recently announced that we are expanding further into Spanish speaking countries by providing Spanish subtitles. Similarly, we are working to provide more subtitle languages which would allow us to better expand into more countries. However, it's not something that's going to happen overnight. This can take years of work to accomplish.

Honestly, as most people would tell you, your best bet for legally streaming Anime outside of the USA is Crunchyroll since almost all other Anime streaming companies that stream in the USA, aren't even trying to expand outside of the USA since they know it's a lot harder with very little initial payoff.

The Crunchyroll logo isn't a star and crescent and you should look into confirmation biases along with your subliminal message training.
