I would definitely want Hiatus!
Fillers are just a waste of my time. They are not a part of the real storyline.

Hiatus, but the problem is not just fillers.

Due to the fact that they want the source material to last for as many episodes as possible, non-filler episodes end up being really slow and boring in long running series. They take what would be 5-10 minutes of content and try to stretch it out to 20+ minutes. This is why the 'you could just skip the filler' arguments are invalid. Sure you can skip filler episodes but you can't skip the filler techniques used within the non-filler episodes. It ruins the non-filler episodes. Making a series air for years when there isn't adequate source material available ruins the quality of the series as a whole.

Filler is usually fun since occasionally it will get referenced, but I struggled to watch all the filler at the end of Naruto...

I guess Hiatus...
I haven't really watched anything else besides Gintama since it stopped -_- I mean yeah I do hate that it's not on right now but as others said the animation might be crappy then I'm happy to wait. I just can't find anything good at the mo XD

Definitely a hiatus. Filler is one of the worst things you can do to story.

I'd prefer hiatus. Fillers, for the most case, are outright terrible.

I hate fillers especially when they weave it in the general plot line. That means you have no choice but to watch it since you wouldn't get some parts later on. This sentiment technically only applies to the longer running series (though I did stop following most long running series) but fillers are okay for your usual anime. I'd actually love it if anime incorporated this more on endings rather than always making sequel hooks that are never going to happen.
