They said that Bleach was going to end with episode 366. It might come back as something else when it the manga gets farther ahead.

That will be difficult since the manga is in the "final arc" It's better it just end. It has been spiraling downward for some time, and everything after the defeat of Butterfly Aizen by SSJ4 Ichigo is a waste of time

The Bleach anime is continuing, just not on TV Tokyo after ep 366. Ep 367 will debut on TV Osaka April 3rd 6:00pm.

I doubt that. TV Tokyo is one of the producers, I doubt that they would just stop showing it on their own station since they would be paying for it to run on someone elses station. If you go to that TV Osaka page, and click on Bleach, it takes you back to TV Tokyo's Bleach page. And if Bleach were still airing, don't you think Crunchyroll would have said something? Or Viz?

Bolded part of the quote for truth. I am amazed at the power of some people's denial. Newtype said Bleach ended, and I would think if they were just changing timeslots(or television stations)....TV Tokyo, Crunchyroll, Anime News Network and Newtype would have all said so. I really shudder when I think of the malware potential of websearches for "Bleach episode 367".

At least you won't have to wait long to be proven wrong. As I type this is 2:10 PM on April 3 in Japan.

Good luck finding a raw or fansub of the non-existent episode 367 from any of the well known fansub sites, and beware of viewing or downloading one via lesser known sites or torrents, especially if they claim you need a special player or codec.

So uh where are all the shows? Of the 6 anime I was looking forward to this season, they got 1? Even Meatloaf had higher standards than that (._.;)

It is difficult to answer that question if you don't list those 6 anime.

So which titles did you want to watch?

Is this a case of "CR somehow missed every title I wanted to watch", or "I don't have a clue what was coming this season, but CR hasn't announced anything I like"?

I expect you know where Kore wa Zombie Desuka, Sankarea, and Accel World are.

The second KoreZom was always a bit of a longshot for CR, due not just to Funimation having licensed the first series (as that never stopped CR from getting a simulcast license before), but moreso to do with Kadokawa's relationship with Nico Nico.

Frankly, I fully expect someone has Medaka Box for simulcast, and given it is a Media Factory title, that leans toward Nico Nico (which has yet to announce anything yet themselves, although they will be simulcasting the titles Funimation announced).

Queen's Blade Rebellion is still a possibility, as the broadcasts on free stations doesn't begin until this week. It was always doubtful anyone would get a simulcast concurrent with the broadcast on AT-X.

As to Kimi no Iru Machi, it doesn't even appear on the list of Spring 2012 TV series. From what I can find, appears to be a 2 episode OVA. Expecting CR or anyone to simulcast that seems a rather unreasonable expectation. While you cant point to Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas as an example of CR simulcasting an OVA, note the number of episodes. It is also one of the few OVAs that has been simulcast (vs. acquired as a library title).

Ooh. I didn't expect a serious reply. If there are industry reasons that some of them wouldn't be licensed to CR, I'd be interested to learn about them. I was looking for Medaka Box, Accel World, Hyouka, Acchi Kocchi, and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. Thanks for the information.

Medaka Box is handled by Media Factory, so I expect it has gone to Nico Nico, but simply hasn't been announced yet. (Despite Funico being a joint venture, Funimation and Nico Nico tend to announce titles separately).

Accel World was licensed by Viz, which was a bit of surprise, since they typically license only new one simulcast per season (although they have sometimes had two running due to a previous one being two-cour). They already had Zetman, so this may be a sign they will be stepping up their game in the future. If so, hopefully CR can work out some Sentai style co-op deal with them, as otherwise this is bad news for those outside the United States (at least Funico simulcasts to Canada).

Hyouka is still far enough away that even if it has already been licensed, there is little pressure to announce it. Why announce something when people might forget you had it by the time it premieres? It appears Hyouka is a Kadokawa property, however, which means that unless Sentai licenses it, it will almost certain go to Nico Nico.

Acchi Kocchi is a TBS series, and those are always a poor bet for being simulcast by anyone. While Funimation got Sankarea, another TBS series as simulcast, they purchased the full rights including broadcast and home video rights, not just streaming/simulcast. Frankly, the best bet for CR getting any TBS series is in a co-op deal with Sentai, where Sentai licenses the full rights package.

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia doesn't appear to have any factors indicating it wouldn't get a simulcast, so I expect it will either turn up at Nico Nico, or CR will get it, but delayed. It also appears this may also be a Kadokawa property, so my comments for Hyouka also apply.

Fate/Zero is still stuck in season one, even though the second season started 3 weeks ago. Can anyone tell me when it will resume airing?

Fate/Zero's second half premiered in Japan on Saturday, April 7. There was a special preview of the first two episodes earlier, which you are apparently mistaking for the premiere.

As Crunchyroll is continuing with the same contract as they had for the first half, you can expect, that just like the first half, the episodes will be posted one week after they air in Japan (and one week after niconico.jp streams them outside Japan). Expect the first episode this coming Saturday, April 15.
