Umm. here's an analogy: I should be able to drive a ferrari into the heart of the worst ghettos in the middle of the night. Should always remain legal. But when i get carjacked, its still just kinda my fault. I mean, its the carjackers fault, but i'm an idiot for being there in the middle of the night with a 200,000$ car.
Thats not a perfect analogy i know, and no articles of clothing should ever be legislated against. But people out there being touched in the head is a fact of life and people should have some defense against the crazies. so i guess what i'm saying is mini-skirts should come with pepper spray lol. Or something like that

My, my guys...had to wade through a little tension there!
Two sides to this:
One, certain actions/reactions shouldn't come from a surprise depending on the articles of clothing a girl (or guy wears) in public. If a person seriously gets shocked from a comment or whistle...or yes, even if WRONG and AGAINST LAW an attempted touch...then that just blows my mind. It'd be like me walking with a suit made out of money into a impoverished area, I cannot expect NOT to have anything happen where I'd think the obvious would or could occur.
The other side, well it's not really the womens fault entirely either. How about the guys over there practicing some self control and keeping their pants on for a change? Perhaps practice some self control? make an effort to bring these rapists to justice? It's kinda absurd.
In the end this is double edged, and I feel both sides hold equal weight.
