Here's a list of anime that I may/may not watch this summer after reviewing the chart and going through the trailers, descriptions, and all that other good stuff:
Priority: - Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru! - Rinne no Lagrange, season 2 - Sword Art Online - Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate - Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, season 2 - Kokoro Connect No fucking clue if I'm going to watch these unless I get a good impression of episode 1: - Natsuyuki Rendevous (highly unsure right now) - Muv-Luve Alternative: Total Eclipse - Hagure Yuusha no Estetica - Campione! - Dakura Boku wa H ga Dekinai <-- watching for the lulz - Oda Nobuna no Yabou - La Storia della Arcana Famigila - Tari Tari OVA(s) - Sankarea - Kimi no Iru Machi - Rinne no Lagrange: Kamogawa Days - both Code Geass OVAs - High School DxD - MGX - To-Love Ru Darkness (depending on how good this is, it'll give me some impression if to watch the upcoming series later) - Corpse Party - Persona 4: No one Is Alone - Dantalian no Shoka Movies: - Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha - Naruto: Road to Ninja - Fairy Tail - Blood-C - Library Wars - Persona Four |

Some of the titles from the list that seem the most interesting are:
-Campione! (strong potential due to the main animation staff consisting of members who worked on two of my favorite shows from last year---"Steins;Gate" and "Nichijou") -Tari Tari (looks like it will have a similar "Hanasaku Iroha" vibe) -Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita (cute and interesting premise) -Koi to Senkyo no Chocolate (same reason as above) -Oda Nabuna no Yabou (same reason as above) |
|
The darkest hour is just before the doorbell rings---Domino\'s Pizza Proverb.
|
|
|
It's pretty much the same staff as Hanasaku Iroha minus Mari Okada. Anyone know anything about Natsuyuki Rendezvous? I can't find any news about the series at all. Judging by the picture and description I'm guessing it's josei or possibly shoujo, but that's it. |

NOTE: ANY ANIME I DID NOT WRITE DOWN MEANS A NO.
Kingdom: doesn't seem to have blood so close to no more than yes, even though ancient Chinese setting anime do appeal to me. Kono naka ni Hitori: yes, because it is something to watch I'm not like super into it. Natsuyuki Rendozvous: Give it a 1 ep try and see from there. Hagure Yuusha no Estetica: yes, boy meets girl with magic and a different world setting always have a huge potential to be good; however an even greater potential to fail horrible. I'M F'ING LOOKING AT YOU PRISM ARK FAILED HARD!!! Aruvu Rezuru: yes, but I'm not expecting much. Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate: yes, seems like a good graphics anime watching for the graphics and of course the 2D. Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita: yeah sure why the hell not Sword Art Online (SAO): FUCK YEAH!!!! looking forward to this again don't f up like prism ark jesus christ. Rinne no Lagrange s2: yes because yes. Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse: yes for the bewbs... Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon s2: yes because the people who down rated this anime feel amazing stupid just stupid, I for one did not down rate this anime and was a big proponent on its plot, and especially setting. Campione!: yeah why not boy meets girl always a good(yet typical) plot, always good watches for the lulz. Oda Nobuna no Yabou: sure lets watch it. Hakuouki: just out of principle that i watched the first two seasons I need to watch it. Bimbougami ga!: yeah pretty original in terms of plot but the protagonist meets god is also pretty unused might be a good one. Tari Tari: sure why not yuri action. All of the ovas and I think just nanoha and naruto movies and fairy tail. |

Looks like a strong line up. However it does not look better than Spring, in my own opinion, because of sakamichi no apollon. Which, I hope cruncyroll streams
I hope they add more seinen anime. |

This was my initial list that I had during the Spring anime preview:
Arcana Famigilia Sword Art Online Blood Lad (Although I'm not sure why it isn't in the version 1 of the chart considering it was one of the earliest to be announced) Then I might pick up the following depending on my time: Natsuyuki Rendozvous Oda Nobuna no Yabou Bimbougami Tari Tari Chouyaku Hyakunin: Uta-Koi This is a surprisingly good summer season. |

Hmm, not looking bad so far. Just have to see what it still to come.

In fact, I have not found any reliable confirmation it will be out in 2012, much less Summer 2012. While it is logical to assume it will be out some time in 2012, that doesn't mean it could be much latter. Think about how long ago you first heard of Code Geass Gaiden, and we are finally getting it as an OVA this summer. |
