Blood Lad (Although I'm not sure why it isn't in the version 1 of the chart considering it was one of the earliest to be announced)

While the anime was itself confirmed, I have yet to find what I would consider a reliable source that indicates when it will premiere. In fact, I have not found any reliable confirmation it will be out in 2012, much less Summer 2012.

While it is logical to assume it will be out some time in 2012, that doesn't mean it could be much latter. Think about how long ago you first heard of Code Geass Gaiden, and we are finally getting it as an OVA this summer.

I know it isn't reliable but I checked out my anime previews from this site. Well the summer anime lists aren't complete yet so there's still a possibility that it'll come out in the version 2. Although I don't mind it premiering in a latter season, gives me all the more reason to check out the other animes I might not have time for.

Summer looks like it could be an interesting season. I will have to wait and see if Area no Kishi will carryover like Uchuu Kyoudai.
Tari Tari sounds interesting since it has most of the Hanaseku Iroha staff except for Okada.
Kono naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru (I wonder what the short name will be) also sounds like a very interesting watch
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate sounds like it should be a good anime of an eroge.
Kingdom , Sword Art Online, Muv Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse all sound like they have premises that I could get into.

Hagure Yuusha no Estetica and Arcana Famigilia are one that I feel cautious about because while the premises sound good, their respective studios(ARMS who made the Queen's Blade anime and J.C Staff who has a spotty record as far as adapting VNs) give me slight pause. It's not a dealbreaker like DEEN usually is.

Moyashimon Returns interests me the most so far.
I would be more enthusiastic for the Code Geass OVAs if:
1. I'd be able to find a legal copy sometime this year
2. it hadn't been some three years in coming.

defenite watches
- sword art online - the art kinda sucks judging from the promo pic and the light novel art was really good...so im disappointed but it still looks good judging from the plot
- kingdom - plot sounds good and the designs look nice
- muv lov - just looks overall really good

maybes:
- arcane - im going to wait till reviews come out since JC staff might mess it up like alot of VN's they do
- campione - dogaboo tends to make good anime so im in mostly for the staff
- koi to - i need a guilty pleasure each season to balance things out so this will probably be it
- jinrui - looks like a nice cute anime so why not?
- natsuyuki - noitamina tends to air good shows so i'll see it because of that
- binbogami - sunrise tends to be a hit or miss so i'll decide after i read some chapters of the manga

defenite no's
- hagure - ARMS that is all
- aruru - ZEXCS that is all
- hakuouki - havent seen the other seasons maybe if i finish them and liked them enough
- moyashimon - same thing as above
- horizon - didnt like S1
- lagrange S2 - same as above
everything else not mentioned.
im also hoping the LB anime is airing in summer but it probably wont air till fall at the earliest.

Whoever decides to stream Moyashimon should also get their first season. I can't find an English version anywhere.

I really hope some group streams the second season of "Dog Days" (and, maybe, the first season along with it).

That aside, both "Binbou-gami ga!" and "Moyashimon" look like they'll be interesting.
I wonder what else will be coming out.

anifo.tumblr.com is a really good site that lists all of the upcoming and airing anime... it was just made though so it's still listing a lot of series!

Looks like Sentai/TAN might have some nice exclusives this summer since it seems Kono naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru and Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate are TBS shows so chances of Crunchyroll getting them are small.

I know Funimation licensed the live-action of Moyashimon but do they also have the anime of it?

Yeah...there are still quite a few interesting ones for Summer. Hoping Crunchyroll can get both seasons of Dog Days in a package deal.

I'm not certain TAN would go the exclusive route with those, since they've been rather light the past couple of seasons on shows they didn't share with CR (i.e, only Persona 4 and Phi-Brain).

Also, even TAN often doesn't get TBS series as a simulcast, but instead picks them up in a later season.

As to Moyashimon, apparently Funimation does not have the anime version, which seems a odd omission until you take into account it predated Funimation's noitaminA contract. In fact, I fact I think it predated Funimation doing simulcasts. (It aired in 2007).

CR getting Dog Days the second time around would indeed be nice. This is one of the series on my "wish someone would have simulcast it" list.

It certainly would be nice to see some TBS series make their way to Crunchyroll this summer. I do realize that TheAnimeNetwork usually streams TBS series after the series has ended.

Hearing that about Moyashimon makes me more hopeful for Crunchyroll to get both. It would be nice if there were package deals for that and as I said before Dog Days .

I also suspect Summer will be lighter on my watchlist than Spring and maybe even Winter. But I will just have to wait and see.
