edit: judging by CR's offical announcment when they said can you guess whats next im betting on moyashimon returns.

Why? Was it something about how they said it?

The end of the announcement says, "Can YOU guess what will be next?" which to me would indicate Chitose Get You rather than Moyashimon.

The hint also made me think that Chitose Get You could be the next announcement since it is the only one that comes to mind with "you" in the title. It is a Takeshibo short anime so it already had a high chance of being on CR. The only other possible thing that hint could refer to is Uta Koi which starts with a "u" and is one of the remaining TV Tokyo titles but Chitose Get You just feels more like the next announcement.

...or it could just be a marketing ploy with no significant meaning.

I notice that Total Eclipse says that TV Tokyo is the publisher. This seems to indicate a direct license rather than a sublicense, since sublicensed titles tend to list the production company instead. This would also mean that it is more likely that it will be available in many places.

In previous seasons, the early part of the announcement season has been dominated by direct licenses and the later part by sublicenses.

There are previews for quite a few Summer songs on this youtube account. Currently there's 16 previews - some of them are just from common trailers, but there are also plenty of radio/pv rips that haven't been posted on English sites.

Mm, I just listened to some of the songs in that yt account for the upcoming summer preview/series:

So far, I like the Rinne no Lagrange OP 2 song (although I still prefer the first one a little bit better)
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate ED is average, not something special.
The Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita OP is just ....LOL

Rest are just so-so, can't wait to see more.

Updates to initial message:

Added information on Crunchyroll simulcasts of YuruYuri Season 2 (Yuruyuri♪♪)

It occurred to me that since Dog Days distributor was apparently StarChild/King Records. If correct, it would help explain the lack of a simulcast of the first series, but also (if the same for the second series), that the odds of a CR simulcast are now rather good.

Aniplex is the main distributor, as far as I know StarChild is only the music producer. Maybe they have some other involvement, but Aniplex definitely holds the rights (this was confirmed by CR's fake page for Dog Days S1).

As I said earlier in this thread, the lack of a simulcast seemed to be something that was Aniplex-wide that season.

By clicking on the link directly above the chart that says:

Full size Neregate version 3.1 chart (1810 x 4840 pixels, 5.17 MB)

or on the link that says:

Alternate (Animucharts) version 1 chart (1870 x 4102 pixels, 2.8 MB)

for an alternate chart...

Either way, it sounds as if the odds of a a simulcast are much higher this time around. We can only hope the first season comes in tow.

It seems that in the past couple of seasons, however, things we used to be able to take for granted (CR getting sequels, CR getting previous series) no longer can be. While there were reasons for these, it does make one a bit less certain of the expected outcome.

In a perfect world, CR would have announced the license today, and spend the next 3 weeks rolling out the episodes of the first series.

If CR does pick it up they could easily rollout the first season all at once since it already has official English subs from the BDs. I'm under the impression that they only spread out releases if a) the series needs time to be subbed or b) it's a catalog title. Speaking of catalog titles, expect more Aniplex/Sentai series to be added, including 1 big name anime.
