It could easily be changed before the broadcast though.

Out of curiosity, how do you view the region tags for series?

By viewing the page source of a .rss page. I haven't checked around much so there might be other places where you can see it too.

Well, I've been enjoying Accel World more than I thought, so I think I will check out Sword Art Online and give it a chance. Other than that nothing looks so great. I just have to wait until one of these shows gets a bunch of good feedback.

Hopefully your right on all 3, they all premiere on AT-X so that would mean delaycasts (except for mayble Campione where the Tokyo-MX broadcast is only a few hours later). Then there's the issue of how censored the simulcasts for the first 2 would be... Funi can take them.

judging from the graphics and quality design, I'll pretty much watch everything if I have time. 'cept for the three which art style I didn't like xD. well, I'll check the reviews later so my plan-to-watch list might decrease :d

Just to be clear, these are on NicoNico.jp, not NicoNico.com, which has pretty much dropped the ball for the past season at least. So it has no relation to the Funico agreement.

Zensunni is correct. It's the Japanese NicoNico site, not the crappy niconico site that didn't stream anything for Spring and seriously dropped the ball in Winter.

From that list.

Oda Nobuna- already going to stream on Crunchyroll
YuruYuri ♪♪- already going to stream on Crunchyroll
Chitose Get You- Takeshibo title. Almost certainly gonna be on Crunchyroll.
Arcana Famiglia- Gonna guess that will be a Sentai license. Good chance of being on CR since CR streams a lot of otome game adaptations.
Hakuouki Reimei-roku- Sentai license, and probable Crunchyroll simulcast
Tari Tari- Sentai? Crunchyroll?
Rinne no Lagrange 2- Viz simulcast (The first season is apparently being dubbed)
Hagure Yuusha no Estetica- Very probable Funimation title since it has ecchi and action
Ebiten- I think Sentai will license this, and share it with Crunchyroll. Funimation might also want another Baka Test-type comedy
Campione- I can see Sentai, Viz and Funimation all interested in this one. I'd give this a 30% chance of a Crunchyroll stream
Total Eclipse- already gonna stream on Crunchyroll
Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai- I think Sentai will pick up this since it seems like a ecchi comedy.
Kororo Connect- Sentai seems more likely, but Funimation got BakaTest and C3 so not sure on this.

Correct. The niconico.jp list is primarily of interest because it is a good indication of what shows will be will definitely be available for streaming in the U.S. (although typically there is one exception), and for information on what company is handling each show. The company handling the show can sometimes give an indication of the most likely U.S. company to stream said show).

If NicoNico.com offers nothing this time around, I believe we can officially consider them as having left the anime simulcast business.

It should be noted that for the past 3 seasons, Aniplex has offered a show via NicoNico.jp for world wide streaming (Fate/Zero in Fall 2011 and Spring 2012, Black Rock Shooter in Winter 2012), so it stands to reason they may do so again this season. We can only hope if they do that it will be available on CR a week later, for better and/or more predictable video quality.

The discussion here seems to focus on the network (TV Tokyo, Tokyo MX, etc.) in terms of predicting simulcasts. I assume that means the network is the company responsible for negotiating and licensing simulcasts? Between ANN’s economy and licensing features, it was not clear to me which company in the production committee would handle licensing negotiations. Also, would the same company, the network, handle licensing the full distribution rights to an international distributor?

My observations over the past few seasons have indicated that the TV network has the most influence on whether a show will get licensed for simulcast. In general, TBS has been the least likely network to have shows simulcast, while the others seem to be more amenable to simulcasts. Of course, TV Tokyo is one of the primary backers of Crunchyroll, which is why many of the shows that are on that network end up being simulcast here.

I think that there is a group of companies, including the network responsible for this, though I don't really understand how it works either. If a series is not licensed by a distributor, then the network is a good way to judge if it will get a simulcast on Crunchyroll. TV Tokyo shows are very likely, for example. I suspect that the reason why the network is a significant factor in that case is because some networks may not want anyone else to show the show for some amount of time. That being said, Crunchyroll and the networks have mutually exclusive regions, which makes that objection make less sense, and is why some networks are happy to have simulcasts that only have a half-hour delay.

I´m gonna watch these (or I will die of boredom) cause they seem like they are really good but I am only basing this on what I have read and seen on the trailers and so on.... : La Storia della Arcana Famigila and Hakuouki: Reimei-roku.

And I´m also thinking of watching this one: Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon II,
