When someone gets mad at you, it's okay to get mad back. This is the Internet, after all. Why don't you post something useful to this thread, instead of pointless sniping? It's called "Last Anime You Completed" after all. |

FullMetal Alchemist
Comment: This is probably the best Anime I've seen in my entire life. The animation, the characters, the story.. very beautiful. It teaches a lot of lessons, like having to move forward and reach your dream, people die every day, that you have to give something first in order to gain something(sacrifice), and most of all.. brotherhood. If you have not seen this Anime, you're missing out on a whole lot of stuff. This changed my life forever, to be truthful. I ended up being part of the top 10 because of this. ^^;; Rating: 10 out of 10 Recommended: Yes or No |

The IDOLM@STER This is probably the longest review I've written thus far but it was worth typing it all out Comment/Review: This anime came out last year on CR and when I first saw the announcement for the simulcast, I'll honestly say I wasn't particularly excited. The way I saw it was just another girl group slice of life comedy which I wasn't particularly a big fan of. Well, these past few days, I was going through my anime backlog list, saw this particular title and thought I should just get it over with and watch it. Boy, am I regretting how I had initially felt when I saw it. For the first part, when I saw the picture for the show, the first thing that came to mind, "there are too many characters, and we'll just get shallow characters with no depth plot wise. I now take back that thought, The IDOLM@STER manages to make each girl an individual with their own characteristics, back story, motivations, etc. (you can argue with me on that note, but this is the way that I saw things). Another plus is that no single character is "abandoned" after their particularly focused episode. They all have a role to fill and make a lasting impression and are recurring characters. The plot itself is simple and becomes more complex as the show progresses. Initially, the purpose is to get the 765 Productions' girl group to become the best idol group in Japan. What makes it complex is that the anime begins to examine each girl's motivation and resolve to become an idol as they face the challenges to make it in that industry. They face both an internal battle as well as external ones from other rival groups and agencies. Each girl also interacts fantastically with each other as well as with the other characters introduced. All in all, the main idea behind this is Friendship, the ability to come together to have fun and do what every one wants to do. And I have to say, this main theme of friendship doesn't get stale, it works with this anime and makes the experience enjoyable. Animation quality is fantastic as expected of A-1 studios, each character looks amazing and is an individual (yes, even Ami and Mami), as well as background looks great and smooth. No expenses were wasted here. The music is also something that exceeded my expectations. Each episode's ending has one of the idol's sing their song that corresponds with the plot of the show itself. Well, considering the game this anime is based off of, music plays a key role so of course the music will be great. Rating: 10 out of 10 Recommended: YES!! |
