Myself; yourself

I really enjoyed this anime! Though it kinda lacks a steady plot, the fact that it was about friends who got back together was pretty good...hey it was a LOT better than AnoHana.

8/10

Yes...again better than AnoHana.

The similarities i was speaking of was the fact that they both were based on childhood friends reconnecting...and yea anohana is similar to angel beats in some respect.

Another. I think I gave it an 8 on mal but would probably give it like a 7 and a half if i could. it did what it tried to do quite well I guess in a decent amount of time. I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Shin Sekai Yori

This anime was phenomenal. I really enjoyed the format of this anime, and it kept you glued to your chair wondering what was going to happen next. The story itself was very well presented. It was one of those anime's that you could picture yourself being the in the situations that the characters were in and wondering how you would react to those situations. In my opinion, I think the only reason that this anime doesn't get a 10/10 would be for a couple of nitpicks with the animation.

Azumanga Daioh

Funny (in a very subdued and charming way) slice-of-life comedy about a group of high school girls and their teachers. It was a progenitor to the moe slice-of-life genre, though the moe aspect is subtle, and plays second fiddle to the endearing character comedy. A big hit back in the day and for good reason, as it's difficult not to smile and occasionally laugh from the amusing antics of the characters. Based on the very good original 4-panel manga by Kiyohiko Azuma, who later went on to write the equally funny and charming Yotsuba&! manga.

Are you implying that Anohana is bad?
Because I thought Anohana was pretty intense.
Then again I enjoy any anime that can reduce me to tears.

Just finished all of Yu Yu Hakasho and, man, was it a blast from the past. Talk about a lost fighting anime that rarely ever gets mentioned. The plot is a little weak, but you stay of the one-liners and all the ass kickin that ensues!

I am very critical when it comes to anime and i just felt AnoHana was a bit over dramatic for silly reasons. I dont think it was a bad anime but i felt that other touching anime such as Angel Beats outclass AnoHana.

Oh yeah of course Angel Beats is better than Anohana, I would never deny that but I still found it enjoyable.
They should have made Angel Beats longer.

Name: Sasami-san@Ganbaranai

Comments: Uh, the premise? Sasami is a hikikomori who views the world through various cameras she's placed on her brother and his bike/clothes, etc. And from there she views his developing relationship with the three Yagami sisters. But that doesn't really tell you much, because by the end of the first episode, the entire world gets turned into chocolate.

It's another Studio SHAFT production, and they kind of go off the deep end with this one, not that that's a bad thing. The story ends up being a commentary on otaku tendencies, whether it be fetishes, relationship problems, or laziness ("ganbaranai" means unmotivated), and shows how they come historically from human nature, rather than modern culture. As for the plot, it's strange, so much so that you might be put off by it, but then again so is everything else.

Recommended? I don't know. It's a pretty fun watch, but be prepared for weirdness. It's pretty TV-MA if you're worried about that

Sword Art Online.

Pretty good overall, but I think they could have added more episodes and shown more of Kirito's progress levelling up. I also felt like the story could have used a little tweaking.

I'd give it a 9 out of 10.
