Senki Zesshou Symphogear.

It was alot better than I expected it to be considering the general synopsis of, "girls sing to fight monsters and save the world." Even with leaning onto some huge cliches towards the end.

Genjuro is probably my favorite gar character now.

Name of Anime: Blue Exorcist
Comment / Review: I totally loved it~ I felt it was a bit short, but hey, there's always the manga to read.
There's action! There's comedy! A teensy tiny bit of love/crushes? Plus the main character is a cutie.
Rating: 10 out of 10 (because I like things too easily so anything I like is a 10 for me)

It is almost impossible to not cry! Personally, I think it's arguably one of the best, if not the best 11 eps or less series ever!

Name of Anime Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan

Comment/Review Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan is a black comedy, fantasy, harem series that has 4 sets of 2 episodes (8 episodes) for season 1 and 2 sets of 2 two episodes (4 episodes) for season 2.

Story/Setting Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan is about 13-year-old junior high schooler Sakura Kusakabe who is visited by an angel from 20 years in the future by the name of Dokuro-chan. Dokuro constantly kills Sakura over and over (usually by accident) with her weapon, a spiked club named excalibolg . However, she always revives him afterwards. I would say why she appeared to him in the first place, but that would be considered spoilers so I'll leave it at that Okay, so, I already knew what this anime was about and didn't really want to see it but I was REALLY bored and needed a really short anime to watch for no reason so I decided to watch this and.......well.......it's another one of those really weird and confusing anime, like, Pani Poni Dash weird O__O. If you haven't seen it or even heard of this series, you might be thinking, "What are you talking about? By the description you gave us, it sounds like a normal plot when an angel just comes to visit a young boy!" but trust me, the reason why it's so weird is because of the reason why Dokuro-chan appeared to Sakura and it's also just......weird in general This anime's story and setting is definitely one of those weird ones and I would say that if you REALLY want to know why, go watch it yourself since it's only 8 episodes long.

Characters Despite the weirdness and disturbingness that is Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, The characters actually weren't that bad and a couple were definitely entertaining and funny to watch. Let's start with Dokuro-chan, I liked her a lot more than I thought I would, though, I wouldn't say she is one of my favorite characters. I watched this series in English dub and I was happy to hear that her voice actor is Wendee Lee, who also voices Konata Izumi (Lucky Star) and Haruhi Suzumiya (TMofHS). I thought her voice fitted Dokuro-chan perfectly. Then there is Shizuki who is Sakura's crush. I didn't really like her because she was SOOOO boring, bland and useless. There really was no point in having her in the show at all. If she didn't exist, the show would still be the exact same thing. Then there is my favorite character who I actually really liked, and that was Sakura. I just found him to be extremely funny and I laughed out loud every time he talked or said something. I think the reason why that is is because of his English voice....so funny!!!!! XD There are Sakura and Dokuro-chan's classmates who were also pretty funny in how they treated Sakura X3 The last character I wanted to mention was another angel from the future by the name of Sabato and the only thing I really like about her was her character design, otherwise she was just an okay character and nothing really stood out enough about her to mention Overall, the characters were probably the best part of the series, though there wasn't any character development sadly.

Animation/Art The animation of Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan was pretty average, nothing extraordinary, beautiful or anything that stood out. Though they did animate all the blood and gore in the series well .....if that's a good thing or not is up to you lol. Also I kinda felt like I was watching a terrible version of Madoka Magica when Dokuro turned two of the classmates into animals.....let's just say that the animation of those two characters animal heads was interesting. The art style was only okay as well and all the character designs were pretty ordinary, except for Dokuro and Sabato...I liked their design the best.

Music Again, the music wasn't anything special....background music, ending music, ect. weren't great and wasn't memorable at all. The opening was okay and kind of funny, but again, nothing special

Rating 5/10 This anime got such a low rating because it was just mediocre at best. It's only saving point, the only reason it even got a 5 instead of something lower, was because of Sakura and his comedy awesomeness. The only thing really good or okay about the series was some of the comedy....that's it lol

Recommended No. I wouldn't recommend this series, except to watch Sakura's hilariousness. It's a waste of time and you could be watching a better anime instead

*And if you are a Dokuro-chan fan, this wasn't meant to be offensive at all and if you like the series, then that's perfectly okay with me!!!*

Name of Anime Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?

Comment/Review Problem Children is an action, comedy, fantasy series that has a total of 10 episodes and a total of 7 volumes of manga.

Story/Setting Problem Children revolves around three children named Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kuou, and You Kasukabe, who live dull lives because they possess unmatched psychic powers. One day, they receive an envelope that transports them to Little Garden, a place of supernatural powers called "Gifts." There, the residents use Gifts to play high-stakes games known as Gift Games in order to earn wealth and prestige for their communities. So, the three children join the fallen "No Name" community and resolve to help it regain its prosperity. As they learn more about Little Garden, they decide to overthrow the tyrannical Demon Lords in control. To be honest, this story confused me a little bit as I was watching it, but soon I was able to catch up to what they were talking about. This is primarily due to the fact that they packed way too much information in an extremely short 10 episode series. This series really should have been a 25 or 26 episode series because they could have had enough room to give information and it was just such a good series that I just wanted more, but sadly I could not with just 10 episodes. Thankfully, by the way the series ended and due to the fact that the 10 episodes only covered 2 volumes of the manga, there will most definitely be a second and even a third season. I really enjoyed the story and setting of this series a great deal. However, the story and setting aren't that original and typical of this kind of series, though, there are small aspects that may be original, but not that many and ones that are to small to mention. Overall I really enjoyed the storyline of Problem Children, I just wished it was a longer series so information wasn't crammed into each episode.

Characters There wasn't a single character that I didn't like in the entire show. I loved Izayoi, You, Asuka and Black Rabbit along with all the villains and side characters. I'll just talk about the four main characters of the show and what I liked and disliked about each of them. We'll first start off with You. You was a great character because she wasn't the stereotypical quiet and emotionless character. In fact, she talked a lot throughout the series and half the time she really didn't have an emotionless face. I found her to be charming and quite cute, plus her power was my favorite out of the three. Asuka was that character that I was surprised I liked. At first, I thought she was going to end up as the snobby, bitchy rich girl but instead she turned out to be pretty cool, admirable, and sarcastic and it made her character a lot more likable. She was probably the best rich girl character I have ever seen in anime so far, and that's saying a lot. Next we have Izayoi who was my absolute favorite character in the entire series. I just loved his cockiness, confidence and just badass nature. Just like Asuka, I thought he was going to be a stereotype of those self-absorbed jerk characters, but he turned out so much better. I also liked how he may seem like a marie sue, but at the same time he really wasn't......not really sure how to explain it lol ^^". The only thing is that I wish they had explained why he was so powerful like they did with You's and Akuka's powers, but I guess that will have to wait until season 2. Finally, the last character I wanted to talk about is Black Rabbit. I really enjoyed watching Black Rabbit in the series and she was just fun to watch with her great personality and happy attitude. Though out of the four, I found her to be the blandest, but very little since she was fun to watch. I guess the reason for that is there was nothing else to her character except that personality and attitude, so other than that there wasn't much else that distinguished her in my opinion. The only characters that got character development was Asuka and You, while Izayoi and Black Rabbit remained the same throughout the series.

Animation/Art The animation of Problem Children was so vibrant and beautiful to watch. It was so nice to watch this new found world in vibrant and bright colors with the smooth movement of the characters. Sometimes I found myself having to rewind to read the subtitles because I would pay more attention to the characters and backgrounds. The animation was perfect and worth the watch. The art style of the characters were nice and I liked how they made the characters look, especially Izayoi and Black Rabbit (especially when her hair changed from blue to pink). They depicted each race of creature pretty well and everyone looked cute and awesome.

Music OMG the music in this series was suburb!!! Especially the opening theme and ending theme songs. I found myself rewatching and rewatching the opening and ending song because I loved them so much. The background music, especially the battle music, were also awesome to listen to during the show and they each set the perfect mood and fit perfectly to the scenes they were meant to play during. Definitely one of the highlights of the show.

Rating 9/10 This series actually would have gotten a 10/10 if it weren't for the series being WAY to short.

Recommended Yes!!! I highly recommend this series to everyone and if you haven't watched it, go watch it RIGHT NOW!!!! :)
