I'm all for violence against women in certain context, in controlled circumstances, that the women in question want it. The name of the act is like advertising violence towards women though, it's not Anti-Violence, or Prevention of violence.
Sorry, bit of a troll, but I agree in non-controlled circumstances this is wrong. I'm just an idiot

What about the 'Violencet against Children/Men/Animals' act? A woman can hit a man and get away with it in most cases but a man cannot hit a woman and get away with it. Double standards much?

So much for 'equality' in America.

Can't trust OP; tried to steal my life.

There is, always has been, and always will be a double standard in some areas. Violence is one of them. This is because the genders are indeed different from each other, as they were intended to be, and as such they should be treated differently. Bias in favor of either gender is detrimental to both in the long term, but that doesn't mean we have to treat both genders exactly the same. After all, it'd be pretty awkward for a guy to chest-bump a girl, don't you think?

Unfortunately no matter how many people support this, there will always be certain assholes in the world that keep hurting and attacking women.

a site without any creatable sources or links for information asking me to sign a petition with big bold colors... really???? Are all of you just sheep willing to follow any one?? Well whatever this doesn't interest me and we have laws in place to punish those that commit violent acts already. I hate to break this to some one if a guy uses some cheesy pick up lines on you that doesn't mean he is sexist . Also birth control isn't a right either that's a luxury for those that can afford it unless it's in a rape case which most hospitals provides.

also this relevant to our so called rights
