Episode 60

The day of the competition, the solution to the problem and the winners .

I like this episode a lot and the ending was the icing on the cake .I am happy that the story is picking up again. But When I was watching this I thought today is Sunday lol

p.s. Funny I was thinking of that material too That was a cute touch, Hibito kun.

Anyway , I am glad that I really stuck with this title. A lot of my friends kinda forgot about this and went on just watching new anime but they are definitely missing a really good anime.

I loved the ending to this episode. And Mutta's realization of the purpose for the competition was also well done.

Not a bad result at all!
Among the astronaut candidates, Team E was second place and fifth out fifteen contestants total.
They should feel fulfilled, everything went smoothly. Just getting the parachute open and Pieco not getting stuck with the mud or the rock is an accomplishment in itself. ^_^
Now to wait for the real Hibito to come back <3

Episode 62
Hibito is back and Amanti's premonition

And now we know what and can guess who

LOve how the story is progressing, but poor Hibito , Apo must weight a ton when he was jumping on top of him besides a pug do weight a lot already

Its so funny certain japanese traits that I see so often which I also use to do is when during the class, Mutta was getting sleepy and then Kenji noticed him and said" you look tired, you didnt get any sleep? " and instead of admitting the obvious, Mutta denies it. It sure cracks me up lol.

Nowadays when my Japanese friend gives me a similar respond, I would give them a look and say "SURE" or "REALLY?" prompting him or her to be more open and that its ok to do so .

anyway no one likes to talk about Space Brother anymore ?

You know, despite being a really big fan of the show and following it since it first started, I don't recall ever posting here. ^^; ( Maybe because I tend to be more of a lurker. ) That being said, this is one of the few series that can keep me highly anticipating the next episode every week, even after 60 episodes. I've tried suggesting it around to some of my friends ( and I plan to force my mom to watch some this winter ), but to no avail, it seems.
This arc looks like it will be really good ( and emotional ). I hope Sharon will be okay. It will be really depressing if she dies before seeing her dream bear fruit. But that could also become a driving force for Mutta and Hibito to continue her dream. After all, Mutta did say he would build the Sharon Telescope on the moon. Ahh~ The wait is going to drive me insane!

Also, those who are reading the manga, how much of the material has been animated so far?

I'm not liking that Amanti's premonitions are becoming a major part of the story. As someone who has never had their fortune told as I don't believe in things like that, I just don't find it believable. Aside from that this show is still going strong, and I really loved the scene with Mutta being on the phone with Sharon and Serika creeping around him. It was really funny. We don't get to see them together enough.

I have heard that volume 11 was the desert arc, and the manga is in the 20's although I can't confirm that.

I also really hate that the premonition has become a serious thing instead of just a jokey break-the-ice thing. Surely there could have been a better way to trigger Mutta's anxiety and ease us into knowing that something really is wrong that will affect him (and the audience, presumably) emotionally.

Well since Hibito is back....

and Sharon is in the picture now , I would say her proposed project is definitely is the main focus of the story of Space Brothers . Since I havent read the manga myself , but I can speculate the direction becuase of the images of the last manga that I have seen .

I would say its a good direction, and I am looking forward to see more episodes of this anime

No idea. None of the sites I know of have an end listed. I also don't know how much of the manga the show has covered. My WAG would be another couple of seasons.

Someone sent me a list that showed 75 but that wasn't an official site. I'm hoping it continues personally. I have never read the manga so not sure how often it publishes and if it has enough material to keep going on without a break.
