No, I'm still watching it, too. :3 It's one of my top 3 most anticipated titles each week. I'm sad to see it's not garnering as much attention as some of the other simulcasts. ( which makes me worried for the US release, whenever Sentai finally does start releasing it. I hope they don't end up canceling it. ;___; )

I'm still watching! (And as far as I can tell, it's still a favorite of many of the mods.)

Some of us are even enjoying the latest iteration of a forum game (we're down to some really hard choices right now!):

I still love it though I'm not too happy that the episodes are much shorter now with the addition of the kids intro, the recap, and the animated Hibito adventures after the ED.

The latest episode was an excellent study in contrasts during the ED, with the two brothers looking at the same picture but looking at the world in very different ways. They should talk more.

That's true! I watch Space Brothers every single week, which is somewhat strange for me, since I tend to get bored with series that have more than ~26 episodes.

I thought the same of that first point. As much as I like Minami Takayama's Detective Conan voice, it's getting annoying having to listen to that same intro every single episode. The Mr. Hibbit stories also don't fit with the series. This way, they now have several animation scenes they can reuse every episode, along with the OP and ED (I guess last week was an exception). All in all, at least I enjoyed it more when they had the weekly space photo corner.

I'm curious to see what implications the recent revelation about Hibito is going to bring to the table.

I have been following this one very closely too.

We clearly know who is the target audience of the My Hibbit portion since this anime has a timeslot where the family can watch it together.

I'm glad they touched on this subject, since these things actually happen within the space program. When millions have been invested in the training of an astronaut, what do you do when there are medical problems? Two great examples: Deke Slayton and Alan Shepard.

I'm sure Hibito will bounce back from this. But I am glad that they aren't brushing off the consequences of his near death experience.

Yeah I thinks its a matter of time HIbito will get over this trauma ,its pretty basic fear of death. Not a lot of anime really deals with this and indeed it was good that they didnt brush aside his near death experience.

This is one stressor he has to deal with , like I am, dealing with a stressor from work and I try to keep my mind busy , or else I will keep worrying and my blood pressure will go up. I am not young anymore.

Oh very much agreed! I kept thinking "man he's resilient for having such a harrowing experience to be smiling like that!" Looking forward to Saturday!

If it happened to me...any near death experience , I dont know how I will deal with it after ... I remember my Mom's story of their family escaping crossfire during the war....

The latest Episode 72

Really touched more about Hibito's condition.I really liked how the storytelling done here.

I find Kenn voice acting in these scenes pretty good and I really like hearing his voice.....but not as Mr. Hibbit YAY !!!

LOL Agreed Mr. Hibbit is grating on me but good to keep in perspective because now you see what Hibito has to deal with in contrast as to what's going on in the minds of all Japan at that time. Oh and hubby declared you don't have enough knuckles to keep cracking them. Tisk Tisk.. so particular he is! LOL

Mutta's presentation couldn't have gone better. The chairman shouldn't have an excuse now to keep Mutta from lunar training, he did come up with an answer to prevent accidents!
The office where Mutta used to work is so interesting... How come that car-shaped space sticking out of the building doesn't fall? xDD

An okay episode, but I"m getting pretty tired of weekly recap, and how much they revisit stuff from prior episodes within the episode.

I didn't used to mind the pace, but it's starting to irritate me a bit.

Also the Hibbit bit this week was super-annoying.

Me too. I've been skipping over all of that stuff. I think this weeks' episode was only about 15 minutes of new material. :(

Anyway, the episode itself was pretty good. After the accident, I was wondering why they didn't have a GPS system. Good to see that Mutta is starting to shine.

Just finished going through all the episodes in about two weeks!

It's such a mesmerizing and emotional show! I can't tell you how many tears I've shed by watching this masterpiece anime!

I'll have to agree about the pacing becoming a bit stale these last episodes, but they're still top notch in the feels department!
