I really hope they don't bring up Olga again. I like her since she brings hope and inspiration to Hibito but as a potential love interest.... that's just so disturbing. If only she was 10 years older, it probably wouldn't be so bad.

Looking forward to the NEEMO training!

I just started reading the manga last week (because of Crunchyroll's new manga service, woot!), and I think it's fantastic. I've watched a bit of the anime too, and it's also really good. Just an overall great series.

Good episode. It was especially interesting to see NEEMO in action. I've heard about it for years, but know very little about it.

Aside from that though, several things about the way scuba diving was covered and described really bugged me. Some bits weren't right and some bits were misleading. For instance, I've swam through a school of Barracuda. Indeed, it is a heart-pounding experience since they are incredibly intimidating. But, it is exceptionally rare that they attack people, especially scuba divers. Any large fish is a potential hazard. Don't touch them. Don't wear sparkling jewelry. Don't act like prey. Don't be stupid. So, things like that annoyed me during this episode.

LOL When it comes to Anime I chose to suspend disbelief otherwise I'd go nuts on actual details. Like when someone is hacking a computer and they are continuously typing.. I'm screaming "WTF ARE YOU TYPING?".. So I take all of this science with a grain a salt.

I do, and I have on numerous occasions with this show. But, this anime also attempts to be realistic in its portrayal of the space program. Sometimes it's hard to let certain details slide, especially when there isn't a good reason for them to be wrong.

There are things here and there that are not quiet accurate but I just let it slide... well most of the time.

That scuba part sure bugged me a little but I am glad the story is moving along.

The whole moon base being up there and how they went back to the same capsules from the 1960's already took me out of the "realism" anyway So I don't sweat the small stuff.

But that is exactly the type of system that NASA has been talking about returning to. The Orion system is very much like an upgraded Apollo system.

You mean the one that can drown everyone inside it? The one that burned on the launch pad? Why go back to that? /sigh I miss the shuttle already.. no wait that blew up.. twice.

Still though it's anime. No matter how "realistic" they want to make it the process of being put on film (so to speak) already changes it. This is hardly a documentary. Anything that is made for television I take with a grain of salt and just enjoy the ride. It's meant to be entertainment anyway and not educational. Unless they want kids to grow up head butting their bosses because they become famous astronauts!

Actually the most recent chapter released was last week(Chapter 222). Crunchyroll started to simulpub the latest chapters starting with 220. And yeah the scanilation sites are up to where the anime is.

But as I mentioned in another reply, Space Brothers is available on Crunchyroll Manga.
