EPISODE 25

This friday , I saw the Shuttle Endeavor flew by on a piggy ride, escorted by 2 NASA or Air Force jet planes over UCLA and man it was exciting . So when I watched this anime last night , it sure made me more excited.

This episode was all about both Mutta and HIbito and I really love the interaction of the two , its covering the month leading towards Hibito's space launch and Mutta's third exam.

I know a lot find the pacing really slow but I actually find it good for this story telling style . I like to savor the moments. I know they are trying to built it up as well. We all just need to learn to step back and slow down

am i the only one making comments about this anime?

I had an anime meetup this weekend and the theme was Space . I suggested Space Brothers for the poll but it was the last in the list in the poll but here I am , so excited about this anime as ever.

Episode 26

Everyone is in Houston now and then the final interview.Watching them eat at that steakhouse makes me want to go to one ha ha ha.

New characters are introduced and I could hear my favorite seiyuu's voice in a different way but his speech pattern i was able to recognize. It's Konishi san . I sure love him Aniki !!!!
Oh yeah ,he was humming when he was at that chair, I remembered my japanese friend said that Nihon jin don't hum.I guess seiyuu are an exception to the rule ha ha ha.
Anyway they featured 3 real astronauts in this episode, I wonder if Noguchi san said those lines himself. He was one of the crew of the first return to space flight in 2005 right after the Columbia disaster .

Yeah, I don't tend to comment on this show, but I watch it every week.

One thing though: Did anyone else think that astronaut looked like Bono from U2?

New OP & ED, which I like. I love the collection of satellites in the ED.

I really enjoyed the flyby of the VAB. That building is enormous. IIRC the stripes on the flag are as big as a bus, and the stars are as tall as a person.
More facts here:

The astronaut's "entrance" was a bit showy, but it is an anime. I'm not complaining. I find it amusing that NASA would still be using the venerable T-38 in the future, but they are great planes.

awesome !!

I was suspecting that would be Noguchi san himself or a voice match and now officially Hoshide san in episode 31 but for them to do the recording while he is in the space station is just a first ever and amazing.

this anime is indeed special.

.Thanks hpulley

This was a heartwarming episode about the UFO. I laughed pretty hard at some parts.

The musical director must have a sense of humor for picking a bluegrass piece when that's not what they could be playing.

Also, Mutta's play on words with yoroshiku was funny but also a touch mean.

Episode 28

The story about what was in that DVD-R was really a cute story . I like Sawashiro san as young Mutta but at times her voice gets too high .

Yea that blugrass music was so wrong man , Hibino wasnt playing a banjo ...and whats with the dancing , it was so retarded. That part was not right .

Overall it was a nice episode but the pacing felt slow this time.

I really liked this episode. Mu-kun comparing his heart to the weather was a really poignant moment. And poor Apo.

The OP is starting to grow on me. I also love the little tribute to Apollo 12. Hibito is driving a classic AstroVette.
