Its like being a baby again you just learn to associate. That's my goal. Right now, I'm headed over to Europe for the summer, but I'm working on getting into a full year program for Chinese. Were you over there for a particular reason, or were you just vacationing? It was during my gap year before college I used it to go and train in a real Shaolin Kung Fu school |

The BBC has a handful of free languages courses online if anyone is interested. I highly recommend learning some Chinese since they will be the economic power of the next century and most of you will be selling to them or working for Chinese corporations.
- http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/ Languages: French Spanish Greek Chinese German Italian Portuguese - Here's a quick guide to Japanese: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/japanese/ - Essential phrases in 40 languages: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/other/quickfix/ - Japanese Phrases: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/other/quickfix/japanese.shtml - Not from the BBC, but here is a site that teaches Chinese. It's all video pulled from YouTube: http://watchtolearnchinese.com/ - Also not on the BBC, but this is an Android phone App called Obenkyo. It will help you "learn Japanese hiragana, katakana and kanji" This application helps you memories: - Japanese syllabary :Katakana & Hiragana, with flash card, keyboard, or drawing recognition - Numbers, in romaji, Hiragana, or kanji - 2300+ Japanese kanji's (level 1-5 JLPT or Jouyou 1-7) with stroke animation (source KanjiVG), translation, readings (Source KanjiDict) with flash card and drawing game. - 14600+ Japanese words (in English) from EDICT with flash card test - Experimental grammatical particle test (around 100 sentences from project Tatoeba) central to Japanese language. - Tae Kim Japanese Grammar guide.
