Continuing on with our spring announcements, we're stoked to present: NARUTO SPIN-OFF: ROCK LEE & HIS NINJA PALS!!!



This will launch tomorrow April 3, at 2:30 am PDT for worldwide users except for Japan, Belgium, France, and Switzerland.

Here's a little breakdown of what you can expect:
“Watch out! This is a new addition to the iconic NARUTO franchise which represents Japanese animation. Earlier today we announced the addition of: Yurumate3Dei!!!

This light-hearted comedic short will be avail to worldwide audiences except for Japan and will kick off on April 6 at 10:30 am PDT.

Yurumate3Dei follows Yurume, an 18-year-old high school graduate who has yet to be accepted into college. In an effort to study for exams, she moves to Maison du Wish, an apartment complex on the outskirts of Tokyo which is full of other out-of-school "rōnin." Maybe that has something to do with the rumor about Maison du Wish: no one who lives there passes the entrance exam.

CR is sucking this season. When are we gonna get some good shows?

The next announcement is gonna be the Naruto SD rock lee crap. Adding more trash to this season.

So this is going to be a delay-cast? (The show airs today in Japan in U.S. time).




Unlikely. Lupin doesn't air until Wednesday U.S. time, so there is little reason for CR to announce it today, especially when 9 other shows premiere ahead of it (meaning even if CR only had 1/3 of those, it would be more than enough to fill today's slate).

There is also a good chance today will have 3 announcements.




Let me know what you consider "some of the good shows" and perhaps I can try and answer your question.

With the exception of You and Me 2, The April announcements have been going close to the order the shows have been premiering in Japan.

I'll give you Saint Seiya, but i'm sorry the fate series is overrated and boring.

so far not very good this spring season. with all the new anime I've seen on other sites CR comes out with another short. Come on

I echo what TheAncientOne said. What are "the good shows" to you?

And I have 6 series on my watchlist for this season(3 are continuations: Area no Kishi, Bodacious Space Pirates and Fate/Zero) which include Nyarko-san, Ozma and Space Brothers. I don't consider it a bad season at all for Crunchyroll and they may not even be half done with the annoucements.

And for the new stuff(and Fate/Zero), they have a nice variety so far:

Shoujo: Hiiro no Kakera
Comedy: Nyarko-san Another Crawling Chaos, Yurumate3Dei
Science Fiction: Ozma, Space Brothers
Family shows: Folktales from Japan
Slice of life: You and Me 2
Shounen Action: Saint Seiya Omega
Seinen Action: Fate/Zero


And I think you are probably right about the Rock Lee anime being the next annoucement(although if there are 3 annoucments today, I think Lupin III will be the third one, although Medaka Box, Natsuiro Kiseki or even Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? of the Dead, which is a longshot, are possible)

space bros is also pretty good so far. and the next announcment will probably be either the rock lee anime or queens blade rebelion or perhaps even both.
