I enjoyed the first episode. The story isn't anything that is excitingly new or fresh, but the way in which it has played out so far kept it interesting. I can't wait to see where the relationship between Jin and Akemi goes, as well as that of Jin and Kouga. I haven't read the manga so I don't know how closely they have been or will follow it, but the first episode has me wanting to read it.

Episode 2

Well, this episode was hot! Literally of course.

Seems that new girl, Konata, has a thing for Jin!

The VA for her role is also Kana Hanazawa.

Anyways, great fight. Looking forward to episode 3.

Cliffhanger-like ending.

Episode 3

Great to see some flashbacks between the main characters between the timeskip.

Jin's rage of the incident:

Great to know...

Somewhat of a cliffhanger ending but anyways, let the player hunting begin.

Finally found this thread , the search ingine suck.

Its actually not too bad but his feelings for the new girl doesnt make sense to me in Episode 9, Oh well.

Yeah its a bit on the violent side but thats what this genre is all about ,a dark hero vs more evil enemy . I agree with some that I actually look forward for this anime on monday and see where the story goes since i never read the manga ....but thursday is my favorite day

Oh, I kinda forgot about this series but overall so far, I'd say it's just so-so. I mean, it's not my highlight of the season but still makes my Mondays worthwhile (not as much as before though compared to the Winter Season).

The one thing I did enjoy (out of not just guilty pleasure) but also for the action are the fight scenes. Yes, it's fucking violent and contains gore but hey, that's what being a dark hero is all about. There's also some emotional drama and even romance themes in the later episodes (latest episode). I found the character designs to be a bit of old school style and not extraordinary but makes it up with their value and style. My hopes of a character development beyond that might be dashed though as this series is only 13 episodes (unless it debuts a season 2) and such a large character development would be surprising. Right now, I'd say that this series is just flexing its muscles before the shit goes down and the real deal comes. Until then, I'll just be watching this so-so series.

Well, Kouga takes a bit stage this episode as well as the test. Also, dat fan-service between Jin and Hanako consummated from last time.

I just discovered this anime yesterday. Banged out all 9 episodes consecutively. Need to get on EP10 asap. This is turning to be one my favorite series. Definitely one the best this spring next to Fate/Zero

Read the manga people, the anime has a compressed plot.
and it's so much gory and more violent

I would just like to say, I am now into episode 10 of Zetman, and I have to admit, so far this story is surprisingly great.
I'm normaly INCREDIBLY strict about the anime's I watch, and I even make fun of animes and drop them early because of how terrible I often think they are, but Zetman is ridiculously good. It kind of amazes me.

I will have to say, the premise of the show is bogus in its own special way, but once you get past the ridiculous origin of the monsters and such, a deep plot resides in Zetman.
This show creates these incredibly deep characters, with dark pasts that you actually feel like you care about. There are a large amount of twists that constantly have me asking where they will go next. So far nothing in this anime is predictable. The setting for this anime is incredibly large scale and flexible enough that the writer takes advantage of it to show you multiple perspectives of certain situations from different characters. The relationships between the various characters feel incredibly realistic. They make you care about the antagonists just as much as you would care for the protagonists, rather than having some offensive villain that just wrecks things for the sake of wrecking things. The whole storyline is filled with intriguing conspiracies while everyone seems to be trying to stab one another in the back. Even the supporting group that is supposed to help out the main hero has an incredibly dark and shady past that has you questioning the motives as well as asking yourself who is the real evil of this anime.

There are just so many great things about this anime, that it is absolutley astounding me. I'm begining to respect it as a piece of writing rather than a simple japanese television show. I will continue watching it and hope that it wont turn down hill, but so far it's done nothing but impress me. I think I might even have to declare it as the best anime of this year... (However, I haven't watched "Nisemonogatari" yet so it's up for debate.)

I have, it's a good series. But Zetman is much better in my opinion. The only other anime to air this year which I believe is on par with this series is Fate/Zero. If you haven't watched it, I highly suggest you do.

Like Rezzy84 I am picky with the anime I watch.

But I like a lot of different genre of anime but what will attract me to an anime is character development. If the character has no depth , I will get bored and stop watching it and then next important element is the plot which include the writing.

This anime was able to attract me with the story initially .But I thought the characters were developing in different levels. There are some that are still weak and some they sped up which annoyed me and some are on tract.

Although I can say too that the original premise of why these genetically engineered monster human were created was kinda weak not unless there is something else.

Its an interesting anime enough to make me want to follow it every week.

Episode 11

Kouga is becoming stranger and tormented. This anime sure is getting weird.
