Honestly of the shows that have been released CR has done really well this season. Also People constantly forget that Fairytale, Bleach and Narruto are continuous and that alone is worth the couple of bucks a month. You get the best technical website with 1080, True full screens. COmments where they belong and easy to access on all sorts of devices for one price. And you can watch anytime at your leisure.

I have some bad news for you concerning Bleach....

What I love are the people who complain any time CR gets a show they personally don't want to watch, as though everyone in the world shares that taste. Some of us actually prefer the Chihayafurus and Hiiro no Kakeras to ecchi and action.

Anyone have any news regarding if CR will be able to pick up Mysterious Girlfriend X or the Amnesia series?

Both of those don't air until the weekend and there are two major anime conventions this weekend too so Crunchyroll has at least until Saturday for Mysterious Girlfriend X and Sunday for Dusk Maiden of Amnesia .

Feeling good about Crunchyroll adding a few more boxes so we'll have at least 27 total simulcasts for Spring. And they really are on the ball about loosening up regional restrictions so there is plenty to be happy about and talk of "a bad season" is about a week premature.

Quoted for truth. And some of us actually really enjoy the Ozmas and the Space Brothers and prefer them to the Medaka Boxes and the Kore Wa Zombies. And I respect those who prefer those anime that you named rather than the ones I really like. One good thing about Crunchyroll is that they usually have something that will cater to their tastes. (meaning that there is something for everybody)

That's just not true. TAN streams series that Sentai picks up ~ they pick and choose, and pass on lots of stuff. Funico picks up stuff that Funimation has not picked up but is thinking over, and so they pass on lots of stuff. Viz only picks up stuff it is going to distribute.

They are all pick and choose sites, connected to series picked up for DVD and/or BD distribution. So if Crunchyroll did not exist, the only option for licensed that are passed over by the disc sellers would be NicoNico.

And being saved from having to use NicoNico's garbage player is something to be thankful for.

Yes, four ad-streaming titles and four others for anime members ~ so far, someone in "Europe outside of Northern Europe" would be thinking whether they need access to Fairy Tail, Folk Tales, You and Me 2, Sengoku Collection and/or Polar Bear Cafe, and whether they want Naruto, OZMA, Nyarko-san, Yurumates and Rock Lee{*} ad-free

Continental Europe is finally getting just about the choice I had available in the US when I first started in 2009.

{*Rock Lee is probably streaming in French, since its blocked in France and neighboring Francophone countries}

And a bunch of stuff that looks like you imagine that Crunchyroll picks series.

Crunchyroll does pick series. How do they decide? Easy: Crunchyroll picks every single series. Then the people who make the series decide if they want to license it to Crunchyroll, or not.

Crunchyroll has nine out of eleven news series so far available to anime members in Spanish America. Including adding Space Brothers to Spanish America, which is most consistently high rated series in the Anime News Network preview guide. And it already has two ongoing series available to anime members in Spanish America, and it has six more series to announce. Even if the two new boxes do not have any series available in Latin America, at the current pace there'd still be 14 series available.

Meanwhile NicoNico will have a few, and region blocked in Latin America, TheAnimeNetwork will have a few, and region blocked in Latin America, Viz has one, which will be region blocked in Latin America ...

... it looks to me that the "take anything we can get" approach of Crunchyroll is pulling ahead of the "pick and choose" approach that you are arguing that Crunchyroll should do instead.

If CR got Sakamichi no Appolon, they would have gotten my 2 most anticipated shows, with Space Brothers, that would be awesome.

About all the complaining: I don't disagree with you, but I think you shouldn't really voice that discontent here since it's not really CR's fault that they can't get every single title worldwide.

Polar Bear and Parallel World Samurai both display "Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region". I'm in the Philippines and I shouldn't been seeing that message. Of course, I know that only anime members can only watch those but if that were the case the message "These videos require a Premium Membership for your region" SHOULD appear. How do I report it? Thanks.

Not sure which premise sounds more absurd out of these 2 shows. But the Polar Bear one I will try for sure given the seiyuu cast.

Even if CR could somehow get all the new (not continuations) shows for Spring I'd be rather "meh" about the selection from info and previews seen so far. This is the first April where I can't find enough shows to fill the holes, the loss, of the shows that have ended, a lot of which were on CR.

CR been getting more and more series each season... far more to cheer about than to boo-hoo what they weren't able to get. If don't want to pay because you don't think it's worth it, don't. You can still check things out a week later.

Since your tastes apparently define what is crap and what isn't, perhaps you would care to enlighten the rest of us?

Seriously, you make it sound as if CR has already wrapped up announcing everything for the season. They still have 7 series to announce, and that is assuming they don't add more boxes (which they have already done twice).

Im still waiting for the shows i want. I most likely won't watch any Polar Bear Cafe, and most likely won't watch Sengoku Collection either. The only show they've announced thus far that's worth watching (for me) this season is Space Brothers. Otherwise i couldn't care less about Rock Lee's whatever chronicles, or Hiiro no Kakera. I want Koreha Zombie Desuka S2, I want Sankarea and Medaka Box, I want Sakamichi no Apollo,Tsuritama, and Accel World...I can only hope and pray that most of these will get picked up by CR, otherwise this season will be quite a bust for me.
