Anyways, a meh episode this time with a lot of talk and history regarding "Naze-chan". God, I also can't stand Medaka's brother. Those four things that he can "steal". Christ.
I can't deny that this episode was about some history of the Kurokami's lost sibling. But this was not that bad, it's an additional information about Naze-chan (Kurokami Kujira), which I am not that shock because of her hair since these past episodes are similar to the Kurokami's.
I'm still looking for more episodes in this show that might give me some thrill. Maybe their goal in this season is to reach and defeat the final boss who looks like a Super Saiyan LOL  .

Yes, I am still enjoying this show even though it is sort of marching along now, a battle per episode with some slow unraveling of the mystery that is the flask plan. Still fun but I think the first season was a bit more interesting, less predictable. Who shall they battle next week... Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good battle manga (Battle Angel is a favorite) but it should be mixed up with something else too IMO.

Next episode goes slightly against the standard formula, as we see just what Naze is capable of as well as setting up one of the best fights of the arc.
Personally I love Naze as a character. She is a strong departure from many of the other characters in the series but at the same time she still holds to the Shonen Jump virtues.
I really hope they continue this series into the Minus arc because Naze really shines in that one.

Oh shit, Class 13 Plus is here!
This latest episode was strange in a way with all the small talks and various powers being displayed. Oh, and let's not forget about Naze's speech and that final scene. Wonder what kind of power that kid has with the hockey like mask.

They are doing really nicely with this so far. Naze is fantastic, both a sadist and a masochist in one fine package. and she only gets more awesome in the next arc.
and it makes a really good point to. What makes someone amazing isn't simply having powers, it's the personality that drives those powers that truely makes the difference.
Would Goku have defeated Freeza if he had a different personality? Would Superman still be Earth's champion if he had been raised by the Luthors instead of the Kents.
It's the personality of a hero that makes them stand up when they are knocked down, to keep going in the face of defeat. Take away the personality and leave the powers and what do you get?
Kikajima's fight in next week and frankly she graduates from Special to Abnormal in my mind with this fight.
but the real fun is the battle that has just been set up by Naze and Odou

This episode was good, a turning point in the season rather than just Another Fight. Looking forward to the next arc. Medaka doesn't do anything without a reason so we will see what she actually has in mind soon...

Well, I guess it's nice to see some of Mizou Yukuhashi's history and I'm also surprised that he is the kindest member of Class 13. If only everyone in Medaka Box were like that..
Oudo pissed me off this episode as well with his ego. Can't wait till next time though because of that abnormal ending!

I quite liked Yukuhashi's character in this one. I could see him being one of my favorite characters in this series, although all the characters are really well done.

As the Abnormal arc gets closer to the end, we are getting closer to the Minus Arc which I think is what most fans of the Manga are waiting for. Don't know how they are going to do it here. In the Manga the jump to the Minus arc was pretty much instant. If that is how they do it in the anime it means we are ending this season on a Cliffhanger, and leave people chomping at the bit until a 3rd season gets a green light.
on the other hand it's Gainax.
They might very well hit us with the cliffhanger and then never make a season 3.
Kumagawa is a fantastic villain, really hope they at least give us his introduction

With Episode 10 we get to see the True nature of Kurokami Medaka and just what a terrifying monster she can be.
and we discover the origins of her selfless nature.
This is who she would have been without Zenkichi.
There is a little more to that first meeting as well but the Manga doesn't get into it for a few more story arcs.
We also get the first few actual spoken lines from Kumagawa Misogi

Great episode! Wasn't expecting cuteness and emotion from Medaka Box Abnormal but there it was! And it kept on coming. Loving this, bought the Good Loser side stories LNs too.

That was quite the flashback there. I found the fight scene kinda lame as I enjoyed the dialogues much better. Good thing she came to her senses again and it's time to make everyone happy!
Medaka-chan (not Nerv) is back baby.
