Well, aside from these issues, they covered it pretty well.

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Next Episode should give us our first foreshadowing of Kumagawa, who is one of the best villains in the series

Episodes 1-7 okay but episode 8 is really when the series began peaking my interest and has only grown since. The only thing is dislike is how episode 10 ended when things were getting really good. Damn, next week, for not being here yet. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The most badass moment of the episode, to me at least, was when Medaka walking up the stairs after punching him through the wall and then said (please note I am paraphrasing), "Good thing you're wearing that uniform; that way I can't hit you three times at full strength and you'll still survive." His face afterwards-PRICELESS!

Click to show or hide It's a temporary genre shift, caused by a neigh-omnipotent transcendental being. At the current pace should happen around episode 63 if we manage to go that far. Have to say I have become a huge fan of the manga. It takes everything that Shonen Jump is known for and then turns it all up to 11 as well as deliberately playing with some of the absurdities of typical battle manga (EX: why let the good guys have special training to power up for the big fight when you could just ambush them while they are still weak) and it has some really great characters. Shiranui we've all meet but there are several that have yet to appear. Naze is just awesome and Kumagawa is the most likable twisted evil scum bag ever.
