I am proud to say that I am a couch potato! I exercise when I can, as much as I can.

I have a high metabolism. I eat a lot and gain nothing. My parents like to tell me that when I'm 30 and my metabolism slows down that it'll catch up with me. That's why I started running. I joined Cross Country and Track during Freshman year and I'm still going. I still run in the off-seasons to keep in shape and I plan to keep running even out of high school to stay healthier. Even so, I still eat anything I want xD I haven't really changed my diet too much except that I eat sandwiches a lot and try to reduce sugar intake.

I'm doing a basic push/pull/legs-abs split (4-5 lifting days/week) + boxing, with my daily meals consisting of something like:

Breakfast: one of these:
* Eggs with milk and coffee
* Protein shake

Lunch: one of these
* Eggs
* Braunschweiger/sharp cheddar/mustard/onion sandwich

Dinner: one of these:
* Steak or beef liver w/ steamed kale and yam
* brown rice and chicken curry with mushrooms, peppers, and various vegetables
* Pan-fried canned fish patties with sauteed vegetables

Pre-workout snack: cottage cheese mixed with peanutbutter and creatine powder

During-workout: I have this whey extract, 60g protein / 300 calories in my water bottle

I started at 6'1" / 155 lb / 18% bf and am now 185 lb / 16% bf, ideally I want to be 200lb and 10% bf, but I've got a long way to go...

What are the portion sizes/net calories for this? I'm impressed that you are making the gains you have on something that seems fairly restrictive and envy you a bit as a result. I've made the mistake in the past of not eating enough--I only lost weight and looked terrible afterward. It took 2x as long to regain muscle I'd lost. I'm still paying for it in slower gains, even though I'm eating as much as I can stomach (typically ~2500-2700 calories, more or less depending upon appetite). I used to be able to build and tone without even trying only 5 or so years ago. Now I have to force myself to eat more and lift until I'm numb to even come close.

I don't eat _only_ those things, but they are what I most commonly eat. As for calories, I do 4 weeks bulk @ 2500 calories, 1 week cut @ 1800 calories, and repeat. I made the same mistake initially, I used to be about 230 lb but with quite a bit of muscle, which I lost most of when I dieted down to 155 in high school.

@AnimePanda35

I think if your hips are inflamed or you suffer from tightness in the hip/groin area then it'd be better for you to do some kind of exercise that doesn't primarily involve being seated (such as cycling), because prolonged periods of sitting contribute to tightness in the hip flexors, but of course the cycling is better than doing nothing at all :)

I don't have any weight loss issues (yet). I'm actually the opposite but that doesn't mean I'm healthy just because I look thin on the outside. Bad foods can actually change your skin appearance and the way you feel. I would love to gain a couple pounds because it is frustrating to find clothing stores that do not carry my size; most stores start at size 2. I have actually gotten many mixed comments from friends and strangers who say I don't need the exercise or eating healthy because I'm so petite and my high metabolism diminishes whatever foods I consume but it's my body and I know the consequences and the effects I will feel later if I consume the wrong type of foods.

I exercise daily, eat organics and super foods, and occasionally will do the 2-week master cleanse. I do care considering I am afraid of pain and I definitely do not like feeling sick all the time when eating food and that happens when I eat bad foods. My decision for staying healthy and fit has a lot to do with health conditions genetically passed through family generations, especially through the females.

I also follow several guide sources of 'Eating Right for Your Blood Type' and 'Are you a Secreter or Non-secreter?' which I am still learning and experiencing from. So far, it has proven correct about the type of foods I am allowed to and not eat. I do feel a major difference and in fact feel much better when I avoid the foods I shouldn't eat due to my blood type.

I have tried many workout programs and have found P90X to be the most beneficial for my lifestyle. Also, I will do bicycling and running with my dogs. I keep my body hydrated by drinking at least 3-4 32 oz. bottles of tea and chlorophyll water (50/50). While there are many programs out there that provide health drinks, I am very adamant about making my own things at home. My homemade power/smoothie drinks consists of fresh, organic fruits and veggies, beeswax and propolis.

Many people mistaken the master cleanse as a diet when in fact it serves different purposes and results for each individual who go through it. Another name it goes by is the 'detox cleanse'. This type of cleanse usually lasts 2-weeks or more and actually washes out the toxins that build up in your organs. You have heard on the news or family and friends that someone had a serious surgery due to blockage in the intestinal system or had stones surgically removed from the kidney/gallstone bladder? This is why I do the cleanse, to stay healthy and to avoid any serious health issues plus I don't like hospitals. During the master cleanse, I create my own power drinks, 1) it's the smoothie drink with fruits and veggies, beeswax and propolis; 2) a lemon/lime/grapefruit and a pinch of maple syrup drink. Then I keep my body hydrated with fluids consisting of tea and chlorophyll water (50/50). While I am on my cleanse, I will continue my daily life activities, exercising, and going to work. For a petite person like myself, I barely lose weight while on the master cleanse. In fact my results are not weight loss since I don't have much fat in my body rather I am able to eat foods that I used to be allergic to.

I also have tried the 2-week brown rice diet and I got really bored of it, quick and I didn't really feel much result. So, it all really depends on the individual's preference and how it will improve results for yourself and your lifestyle. As well, if you are really motivated to stay fit and healthy.

Hopefully, my experience has helped others understand better about staying fit and eating healthy. I may not check back here so if you have any questions, please send me a message. Thanks for reading.

For me to exercise, someone would need to pay me to exercise.

Luckily, that is my situation. I have two jobs. My second job is a security guard (Part-Time). I walk around in circles all night long.

My Primary job is an office worker. Sitting at a desk all day does not get me any exercise.
