Honestly, I don't mind a little ecchi. But fanservice for no reason or relevance to the plot is something I find annoying. I loved Gosick, the romance as well as the mystery kept my attention and made it emotional. That being said, I do seem to be more drawn to mystery, not horror style shows.

Ugh, I hate myself for posting that whenever I fall into the temptation of "trolling" - if you can even call it that.
Now on topic, I don't really see a point to this topic unless it's just stating what the OP, who is a female, enjoys. I see that many people fail to understand that even females can enjoy male-orientated shows and vice versa.

Oh, no - I wasn't insinuating that at all. I was just shitposting because I had the urge to shitpost threads without any real discussion value. I believe there may be some heterosexual males who can/may enjoy yaoi, though.

I need story more than anything. I don't want just mere fluff, or smut, or angst. Give me something with substance, a concrete plot with a steady rolling path along with characters with depth. And then fill the rest up with smut, angst, smut, fluff, smut, and did I mention smut? xD. Toss in a seme and uke from Kosuru Boukon and I have all I need in life. Give me something tragically messed up like Deep Love and I'll be content. Also something like Darling wa Namamono ni Tsuki so I can laugh at the hilarious and raunchy moments.
I typically enjoy mangas that have a shell of being a "typical" shoujo and turn out to be quite dark and/or tragic. I love romance with dark undertones. Kare Kano and Nana come to mind first. I tend to like most joseis I come across, rare they be. |

Depends XD I range from shounen ai to shoujo ai  but I don't fangirl over it I just watch it occasionally.
I like animes with: dark humour, different time periods (either historical or based in the future both are cool), sci-fi, shippable characters, bizarre storylines (I especially love animes that don't make sense in the beginning but build up), strategical storylines and bishies, I love mah bishies XD I also like ecchi and lots of fanservice.
