Super Mega Awesome Spoiler Alert!!!!!
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Oh mah gawd. Now Ritsuko likes Karou, but Sentarou knows Ri-chan likes him so the way he thinks of her is changing. THIS SHOW IS CRAZY AWESOME!!!!! And on top of that Jun-nii's life is about to do a 180, and I'm just hoping Yurika doesn't have any repurcussions from being with Jun-nii. But on the bright side, we learned today why Jun-nii is so monotonous and lackluster for anything except jazz.. |

At the comment section , someone mentioned about the revolution, if the anime is trying to instill one
Well since anime is based partly of historical events, the student protest were actually happening in the later half of the 1960's.like in Tokyo University. this person wrote a paper about it ans someone commented and said he was actually there during those crazy times... http://papersiwrote.blogspot.com/2006/09/japanese-student-left-in-1960s.html and http://www.jstor.org/discover/10.2307/40199978?uid=3739560&uid=2129&uid=2&uid=70&uid=4&uid=3739256&sid=56224256043 anyway, i noticed something that the anime added when Yurika entered, I didn't like , its Jun-nii face |

I'm continuously impressed with this series. The storytelling is among the best I've ever seen, regardless of genre. I the depth given to no only the main characters, but some of the side characters lends to the overall realism. I think this series should be included on everyone's must see list.

ooops sorry double post
Episode 9 Love me or leave me A great closure episode for Jun-nii , i just love it !!!! and once again they were jamming or rather Sen and Jun-nii were duking it out to the Jazz classic titled Four by Miles Davis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0i7uWtB2Vg This episode is also the end of Volume 6 of the manga and there are only 9 volume , my advise is DO NOT read volume 8 , basically this volume ends High School as we know it and volume 9 is beyond High school. I felt really down after reading volume 8 since i dont have volume 9 yet , which is drving me nut SO DON'T READ volume 8 while watching the anime !!!!. I have a feeling that the last 3 episodes will basically cover each remaining volume per episode .Indeed , this has a lot more DRAMA |

It saddens me to think that there's only 3 more episodes. #
This has become one of my favourite series. It's well written, the animation quality is great, the music is superb and the story just sucks you in. |

Well part of episode 8 and 9 both came from Manga volume 6.
A few detail on how Jun-nii and the activist group was left out. He and Muroi are good music friends in the university and they have a quartet band going on. JUn-nii is a literature major student. He was approached by Aritan san ,where he tried to recruit him and tJun-nii would debate them on their ideals and he has done this with the other sect that would try to recruit him. Muroi san was impressed and got motivated by that mini debate of Jun-nii and he also reminded him about his promise to go to the meeting, So we see in the anime he in the meeting and was invited to share his opinion to the group .Initially He didnt want to but Arita san san convince him to share what they discussed about ..It turns out that Jun-nii is a captivating speaker and a convincing one that he got a lot to join , including Muroi san. So Muroi san was moved by the speech and he started reading that book which Arita san gave him , Muroi san actually join that sect but Jun-nii did not. Hei was also skipping their jam practise sessions which made Jun-nii to worry. In the anime when Arita san asked Jun-nii a favor just in case something happens to him, Jun-nii is still not a part of the group , it was only after Arita san got arrested and Muroi san came running to Jun-nii for help and thats when he started making speeches for the group but his heart was not in it . At that time Jun-nii is still a freshman in college but not Muroi san.In that riot, Jun-nii was not in it . So when Muroi san got injured , he felt really guilty and was haunted by that. Episode 9 At the Christmas party , Kaoru ended up playing the organ and the girls are all surrounding him ha ha ha.Well anyway the anime is pretty close to the manga after that. |
