I like how the supernatural aspects are kept subtle (the scissors, and the drool.) It doesn't ever go over the top, kind of like how Urabe and Tsubaki keep the relationship at a steady pace. The humour is good, but it has serious points too; it's an intelligent story about growing up. stark makes a good point about Urabe's voice actress too. She's very good indeed, definitely a highlight.

But it's a disgustingly fun cringe! And granted, when two people are kissing deeply - they're also exchanging saliva; but the kissing totally removes you from the "germ fest" that you're partaking in.

Example, in ep 1 when the wind catches Urabe's skirt and youcatch the quick glimpse of the scissors tucked in her pantu's,,, subtle and tastefully done . The impromptu ice-cream date between Tsubaki and Oka and the way her huge boobs are drawn when she's presenting the ice-cream,,, that also tastefully executed. And the tight though black sweater Urabe wears in ep 8,,, also drawn and animated with a greater sense of style and maturity!

After years of being a member of numerous other anime sites, CR's style and maturity of members caused me to pay for membership/viewing support within days after watching MGX. I too am completely enthralled by Urabe's voice. It's entensity and delivery are without any known equal ! When the action hesitates and she drops those " Tsubaki_kun's ", I, like Tsubaki, find myself in full understanding why he's so taken by her.
