I thought some of the comments on this weeks episode were kinda funny since they were a bunch of girls chiding guys for cheating. Not a single one of them was looking in the collective mirror while they wrote it lol. While Tsubaki was just as guilty (probly more so actually), whatsherface is trying to break up the couple so she can have Tsubaki for herself. I personally think that is a worse offense than lying to the one you love. Of course Tsubaki is doubly stupid for telling her his girlfriend's name. Never tell a girl who is interested in you, your girlfriends name! lol
Well, he's young and stupid, he will learn... we hope.

Excellent adaptation once again! Next time, Urabe will need to lay down the law, but who will she smack down harder, Hayakawa or Tsubaki?
It does look like they will end the Cultural Festival arc with two episodes, leaving one more episode for the feel good end, hopefully with a "See you next season" as the last eye-catch!  PLEASE!!!! |

This is a good show,it's taking time to bring Urabe and tsubski togethter. they are learning about each other the way they should it has all the right format to be a great long series, if they do it right |

somethings were cut out but the did a good job- oh yes urabe will lay down the law, and claim her man but she will also put him in his place as her boyfriend--------words from the bible will make him know games are for children and she wont stand for it.

Episode 10 was my favourite so far. Lost a bit of respect for Tsubaki, lying and then digging a bigger hole for himself Brave move in the series though, the first real sense of danger!

I agree that the end of the season episode will be the feel good typical season ender that will leave us hanging out to dry while we hope for a season two. I'm enthralled by this anime but I'm preparing to move onto another favorite or two or three that's similar to the depth of MGX.
I'm going to start reading the mangas today.
Can anyone advise me where I should start with the mangas , as in which chapter from where episode 10 leaves off??

I would also suggest either
A) reading from the beginning, since it is only 35 - 38 ish chapters of content to the end of season 1...
B) at least reading the chapters that were skipped/altered significantly:

Chapter 25 - Mysterious Moment

Chapter 27 - Mysterious Summer Greetings
All of these are good chapters, but mysterious summer vacation, sign, dessert, memory, big sister, and summer greetings deal more with the relationship development, while moment and souvenir are more of the prelude to the future arcs where there is more conflict and relationship problems...

I agree you should get them all even though I provided the info. The books are less than ¥600 each so I got all 8 so far. 9 must be coming soon. It is fun to see the original artwork, see it progress especially after the first chapter. It is fairly quick reading with some pages full of Urabe's laughter.
