The animation reminds me of Hajime No Ippo (instant fan!) and the main dude is so relatable I catch myself blushing when he does ^.^

So I was having kind of a hard time watching it for a while. It did grow on me a bit though and by the end I liked it enough to catch myself up on the manga.

Sales were on the edge as far as warranting another season but I bought it and love it. Still buying the manga and hoping for at least a couple more OVAs or something. They need to do the Idol arc and the Mysterious Girlfriend Y arcs! Not sure if the manga got much of a bump either, would need to dig through old sales figures.

My roommate had mentioned this anime to me once or twice but I paid him no mind until i stumbled across this series one day. I read the synopsis and was like what the heck? Watched the first episode and was like no way he just licked her drool.... and then got hooked and continued to watch this fascinatingly odd anime. I was kind of sad it was a little short
