Why is everyone praising Urabe's seiyuu?
I don't like her voice tbh.

Several reasons:

1. It is different. A breath of fresh air. Most seiyuu have quite high voices, but if you listen to the world around you, that is not how most women sound. Sure, some women, and men (Mike Tyson, Michael Jackson) have high voices, but most have voices with a bit lower pitch.

2. It sounds natural. That really goes along with point 1. Her voice has an entirely natural sound to it, especailly after she laughs. There lilt in her voice after laughter is intoxicating!

3. It is sexy! Pure and simple! Husky, slightly breathy at times, sultry, and alluring!

Urabes voice is epic, It compliments the character very well, its an uncommon voice for an uncommon character, love it or hate it, I think its dead on awsome.

I can only agree with this.

But congrats to her. This is her first voice acting job (?) and she's serving.
(Though I'm still not feeling her.)

Spot on!

It's gotten more than a little annoying to hear all the artificial girly voices in anime. I think it is only when you come across a really different voice, you realize just how over done these voices are. It may be the standard or traditional way, but I'm really glad to hear something new. And I really hope we'll see more of this natural voice acting in the future.

You dont have to agree with everyone else. If you dont like her voice then you dont like it. :p

I think she has a sexy voice, and I could listen to her talk all day.

As for other reasons: I agree with the above mentioned reasons. Her voice is more natural. Japanese girls only talk in that high squeaky voice because they think that it makes them sound young and cute. Theres an insulting term for that in Japanese, I just cant remember what it is. If you talk like that naturally, thats fine, but usually I think its pretty obvious when they are faking it.

That is a very good point! I think of it this way, my 10 year old daughter has a lower pitched voice than the vast majority of high school aged characters in anime. She even recognizes it as a bit odd. (Of course, when she starts singing in a chorus, she will seriously be an alto, maybe a contralto. As she ages, she might be able to sing male tenor! My mom did. I sang tenor with her in the church choir for a year. It was a stretch for both of us, as I have a natural baritone range and she had to really work for the lower notes... Strangely enough, she switched to singing soprano the next year, because she was singing the high part in a women's barbershop quartet at that time. I think she is the only woman I ever met with a falsetto... though I'm sure some of these seiyuu do too, I just haven't met them. Her range was amazing! at least 4 octaves if not 5.)

It's just body fluids really.

Reminds me of when I see people separate all the food on their plate so that none of it is touching. It all hits your stomach in some kind of pulverized mix regardless of how you arrange it on your plate. It's the same with drool.

ChaseTheCaseI falcon punched the X button.

Your loss...

I'll lick the drool off a girls lips or certain fluids off other anatomical areas, so licking drool off her finger wouldnt be that bizarre. Now, licking it off the top of a desk would be really gross. Mainly because its not on her, and no telling whats landed on it or whats crawling around on the desk itself. lol

Also your judgmental attitude made me lol.

Stuff is gross.Especially when she gave him a lugie to suck on. Its obviously aimed at people, who for some reason, have a fetish for drool. So im not dissing anyone. Just not my cup of tea.
