I wish they simulcasted Accel World, KoreZom, Hyouka and Sankarea. Because first episode wise except for Hyouka it is pretty great. Love Ayumu from KoreZom of the Dead, Kuroyukihime and Sanka Rea from Sankarea. Nonetheless, they have some shows that they are simulcasting that I like such as Kuroko no Basket, Upotte and Kimi to Boku 2. In addition, why would someone watch Polar Bear Cafe. Let me guess its about a polar bear owning a cafe. Kind of disappointed with CR.

Crunchyroll could still get Hyouka. There are at least 2 more announcements to be made, and Crunchyroll normally announces a show before it airs in Japan. Assuming that is the case, there are only 4 shows left which Crunchyroll could get, one of which is Hyouka. The other 3 are Eureka Seven AO, Shining Hearts, and AKB0048. It might not happen like that though. They could still license shows which have already aired, but there is at least a decent chance that they got Hyouka. I can hope, anyway.

So there's no chance that we're getting Dusk Maiden of Amnesia?

The bad news is that Hyouka appears to be handled by Kadokawa. That means unless Sentai licenses it, and CR gets it in a co-op deal, that means it would go to Nico Nico (and by extension to Funimation).

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia may also be a Kadokawa series, but I am less confident in declaring that.

Despite the fact that Queen's Blade Rebellion aired on April 3 (or late April 2 in U.S. time), it can't be ruled out quite yet, as the first airing in Japan on free TV isn't until this week. It was very unlikely the publisher would have allowed any simulcast before then. On niconico.jp, their stream doesn't start until "late April" (they don't even list a definite date yet).

Speaking of niconico.jp's simulcast, the past couple of seasons there have been no more than 2 series they listed that were not streamed during the season by a company in the U.S., but there are currently 9 of their listed series by my count that have no announced license.

We already know of 4 Funico simulcasts thanks to Funimation's announcements, so even if Funico is moving up from 7 simulcasts last season to 8 this season, that still means they would be picking up only 4 of those 9.

At this point, there are only 5 series that haven't started and haven't been licensed. Of those, I think the two best bets for being on CR are the two MBS series:

Eureka Seven AO (Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean)
Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan

I'm not ready to proclaim those are the next two titles, but rather that if anything else is announced, it will be something starting after it has already premiered in Japan (i.e., Cardfight!! Vanguard: Asia Circuit Hen, Natsuiro Kiseki)

I think their choices have been spectacular.

Space Brothers
Fate Zero 2
Ozma
Kuroko's Basketball
Kids on the Slope
Tsuritama
Saint Seiya

Wow. I mean you'd be a fool not to support CR and by extension, the industry. They're consistently getting the best shows of the season and furthermore you get same day access, in HD.

If they get Eureka Seven AO, then it's case closed; CR pwns.

Highly disappointed. Space Brothers is turning out to be a gem and Ozma is pretty interesting so far, so that's pretty redeemable.

But CR doesn't have a whole lot of choice, so I can't complain.

What I am impressed by is how many new series it got.

Crunchyroll's simulcast of the first half of Fate/Zero was one week after niconico.jp, so there is little reason to expect that to change. So no, the first episode shouldn't have been shown by now. It should be shown this coming Saturday (April 14).

That makes sense, it'd just be less confusing for the average user if CR would announce when they'll be showing their episodes.

At first glance a lot of the shows look meh or boring, but I know that if I just watch the first episode of a lot of these my mind will change. (Like Kuroko's Basketball. I don't even care about basketball but it seemed interesting)

Overall, not a bad one. It started off slowly but picked up around towards the end.

I got my:

Saki
Rebellion
Mysterious Girlfriend X
Medaka Box

Most of my main ones have been netted. I'm a happy, happy man.

Well, from the current Spring 2012 lineup, I'm choosing to watch:

Naruto Shippuden, Fate/Zero part 2, Fairy Tail, and Area no Kishi (maybe) for the continuing series

For the new simulcast:

Hiiro no Kakera, Mysterious Girlfriend X, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, and Medaka Box

I'll try most of the new simulcasts, with the exception of the kids ones. I agree that the later picks are more interesting than the earlier ones.

It may very well be that they are waiting to actually have the materials in hand for the first episode in hand before making the announcement.

There are few things that leave a worse impression than announcing premiere date for the first date of a series, and then having to postpone it because the original video didn't arrive in time, or there were other production problems.

I think the CR choices are pretty awesome for spring (granted, I was pretty excited for spring season this year in general). I'm more than happy with F/Z, Tsuritama, Sakamichi no Apollon, Tasogare OxA, Polar Bear Cafe, Space Bros, and Mysterious Girlfriend X. Only other shows I'm watching this season are Hyouka, Sankarea, Natsuiro Kiseki, and the new Lupin, and a lot of these are getting simulcast elsewhere anyways. (Also, there's still a chance that CR might get Hyouka later. It hasn't aired yet.)

Looking forward to this season!
