If a girl is wearing a low-cut shirt, then yes, go ahead and look. Don't stare or if you do, be discreet.

Being a girl I think I can say this with some confidence:
If I'm wearing a low cut shirt (while it's rare for me to do so) I really don't care. They're there and I'm not hiding them. If I feel like someone is going to be looking at my breasts and I don't want them to, I wear a t-shirt that covers everything. Problem solved.

It's alright to look, just don't leer.

IF YOU are talking to her, look into her eyes. The cleavage is to get you to look and come over, you can worry about sticking your face in there later on, if you are engaging enough to get a chance.

Tight sweaters seem to work the same way as low cut shirts.

Most of the women I've ever known don't mind if you check them out, they just don't like it if you are talking to their boobs instead of them.

A couple of things to remember, don't do it at work . . . too much
AND
If you are with someone, on a date, it is beyond rude to check out others. Gotta have some respect for the person you're with.

Consequently if she checks out some "hot lookin' guy" I'd be checking out all the women in the general area. I reiterate, Gotta have some respect for the person you're with.

If her boobs are out, I'm looking it should be a crime not to and when I get caught I just reply with "Well they were out". Yes it's distracting and you know what I love being distracted.

I believe if it is obvious she wants cleavage to be shown, then why should she get mad if you stare? It's like getting angry at people who look at your butt if your shorts have written words on them. If you don't want to be stared at, don't wear something worth being stared at.

I don't give a shit if you've had any issues in your school because of that. If the people around you are that stupid then that's another reason to cover what you don't want others looking at.

Laughing stock my arse. No one is forcing you to hang around clowns.

And learn to read.

Well for some girls it can't be helped that their boobs are big and they stick out like a sore thumb depending on the top she's wearing.

As I said before, it is a known fact that guys are naturally attracted to a woman's breasts. And if she's wearing low cut tops, knowing some guys are gonna be staring more at the tits instead of her face....then, maybe she needs to cover them and not get mad when this is such a common thing.

However, if a guy just wants to be with a girl because of her tits, then he's never gonna get far in life.

I get what you mean. Whenever I see other girls wearing low cut tops I find myself looking too lol just because its there in your face straight or not that is distracting. I admire women with nice boobs because I'm a B cup and wonderbra may push them together and lift them up but still small, I don't really care since I'm an athletic girl.

Hooray, a thread full of men telling women what to do. -_- Also interesting how the people saying, "well, they want to be looked at if they dress that way!" are all male.

All comes down to respect. Respect that not all women who choose not to wear burqas to cover up absolutely everything hetero males might want to look at want to be sexually harassed. And I think GrateSaiyaman's "It's alright to look, just don't leer." is probably a good idea. Know where the lines are. And for goodness sake, DON'T try to dictate what women want by how they dress. That's sleazy. Women get to define what they want, not you men. Not everything a woman does is for a man. A shirt is just a shirt, not an invitation to treat her as an object.

Well it sounds to me like you're grouping me in with other guys here. I wasn't telling women what to do...they wanna go out there looking like that, go ahead. But don't get mad at me if a bunch of horny, no class guys are just oogling her all day with thoughts of banging her dancing in their heads.

What I was telling was common sense, and even many women might agree with me on this.

And here I thought it´s another discussion about girls asking to be raped by wearing revealing outfits. :D
Anyhow, gazing at someone is rude, but taking a short glance if it catches your attention is nothing to be ashamed of nor is it impolite for all I care. I believe, that those who are unable to stand that kind of attention would not dress like that.

I'm not the type of guy to turn my head and continue looking...There are guys who do that, they see a girl ahead of them and look. Then when she passes by they turn their heads or whole body and continue to look. Sometimes I find that annoying and the girl probably feels the same way.

Yes I see this all too often, and it annoys me as a man.

So what you do is when you're walking behind the girl and you both passed these horny jackals, is to walk up not near her, but close enough to that you can block the view of her from these guys. It really works, and they may even get irritated that you're blocking their view.

I've done it a few times, and one time I heard "GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY!!" I laughed like hell.
